The Cavs only needed to draft a wing player that can fill in at the 3/2 which they did the kid from Kansas who had just come off of winning the National Championship 🏆. I remember a time when drafting a player that won a National Championship in college was a significant thing and we were able to draft one that I felt would've filled in nicely at the wing for us.Agbaji can catch and shoot the 3 and create off his own dribble plus he is a nice height at around 6-5,6-6. I liked our tall lineup from last year with Lauri Mark, Allen and rookie Mobley I just felt like we needed to sign a couple of backup bigs to give us a little more physicality and still have the size to keep us big when either Allen or Mobley or Lauri was resting. I had a few names that would've been available for a deal Boogie Cousins and Andre Drummond both would've been nice to add to the Cavs because of the Donovan Mitchell trade we lost depth and size and options for different lineups to put on the floor. I was hesitant about the trade at the time because I didn't feel like Mitchell is good enough or tall enough to move the needle to me. We already had a small backcourt before the trade but we made a trade for a small undersized, overated shooting guard. We sacrificed a lot for a midget 2 guard that best asset is scoring and all you have to do is place a tall wing on him since he is short and that most likely would make him inefficient which before this season he was mainly a volume scorer that was kind of inefficient from the field before this breakout year for us. This was D.mitchell's best individual season statistically speaking but the acquisition of him created more problems the Cavs had even before they traded for him. Now we have more personnel issues to address than we needed to address before last season. Just my analysis and opinion.
Windy is great and right on. It was an awfully played series by both teams. Allen was dominated by that stiff Robinson. The Knicks were shooting bricks also but not as many as the Cavs

What I took from this convo is…. the Cavs are screwed moving forward. LaVert is not worth the money but they have no choice but to resign, JA isn’t good enough to compete against elite bigs, Mobley needs to improve drastically and the bench needs an overhaul. And with two max players on the roster most if not all of those things will be impossible to achieve.

Yes they were outplayed by an under achieving Knicks team and Cleveland's preparation weren't ready for the occasion because of the run before the playoffs. The Cavs lost the last 2 regular season games before the start of the series ( in my opinion) should had been wins in which would've given the team greater confidence heading into the playoffs. By saying that, Cleveland was only playing catch up basketball but congratulations on this year's team success and only from here on out Cleveland's basketball is looking up..

the New York Knicks just wanted it More and they were more hungry and aggressive than the Cavaliers I can live with that knowing this Cavs Team got their first taste of a real playoff atmosphere especially in New York City so I believe next year they will come out better and hopefully stronger and the message is please do not get Outrebounded 😂in the next Playoff Series. And learn how to block out the noise specially on the road and most importantly do not let a goofy like Mitchell Robinson intimidate you!!!!they have to be Ready and they Need to come Stronger than what they did in the playoffs but they will be alright in my opinion.And the Donovan Mitchell talks about him not wanting to stay in Cleveland and possibly going to his hometown play for the Knicks I'd rather wait and see what happened next season. I'm not about to jump the gun just yet. But I give credit to the New York Knicks they took care of business 🏀💯but they're going to lose in Round 2 Miami🔥 in 6.

Kobe Altman Destroyed the Cavs Process, they didn’t need DM at All, Only things Altman had to do was trade Sexton and a couple of 2nds for a Nice 3&d Wing but Nooo Altman Just had to trade away their future for midget Mitchell 😔
we've known all along that the cavs need some shooters, but this series exposed that they need some rebounders just as badly. they have no one to grab boards outside of Allen & mitchell. knicks had toppin & hartenstein off the bench, cavs had no one. get a true 3&D wing, sign some rebounders & some shooters.

The Cavs looked like they didn't belong in the playoffs — which is the biggest disappointment of 'em all. And it seems to prove — again — that the NBA regular season really doesn't mean too much.
Mobley is not an all-star caliber player, come on
Altman just announced that he isn't firing Bickerstaff because of the success of the regular season. He couldn't care less about how that translated into the playoffs.
I don't think JB is terrible. I appreciate how far he took this Cavs team despite not having a true 5th or 6th man. But this is as far as he's able to take Cleveland. We need a new Coach.
