Suns fan here. If the clippers had there top two this series would be different. The suns are still learning. But let's not act like the clippers. Bench wouldn't be better than half the NBA starting five. If Kauai and Paul George stayed healthy for a whole playoff they'd have a championship already
If Kawhi didn't have his injury/load management history you could say "but if he wasn't injured they would have won". We gotta stop using that as an excuse now when it comes to Kawhi, everyone needs to come to grips with the fact that he isn't playing a full series anymore.

Shady said that if they had Kawhi that’s an extra 30 points.. nah it doesn’t quite work like that. You don’t just add Kawhi’s 30 to the score board. If Kawhi played, someone has to get less minutes which would’ve been Powell and then Hyland. If Powells getting less minutes, he’s not dropping 40 so take away half of that at least. Then you have to factor in the ball movement slowing down since Kawhi will have the ball in his hand about a third of the time so now Westbrook probably isn’t scoring 30, maybe 20-25. Then you maybe reduce Hylands minutes as well and he’s probably not scoring 20 off the bench with even fewer minutes. Outcome possibly would be the same. Maybe both teams score less points since it would be defense heavy but an L is most likely the outcome for the Clips still.
Nobody is even bringing up Books defense this series. Everyone knows he's a bucket, he's arguably been better defensively this series which is saying a lot considering he's averaging 36 against the Clippers.
