  1. I heard you said 5th best team iin the west. Did you take the injuries into consideration? Happy birthday to the Wife. ❤❤

  2. You’re still the best analyst I am hearing on the air that is breaking down the game – wishing you continued success

  3. As an LA Lakers fan since 1965-66, Lakers Nation overreacts to victories an losses – and LeBron to me is the second greatest player of all time behind Wilt Chamberlain. I can see the Lakers beating Sacramento but not Golden State. Also, I can see the Lakers beating Denver but not Phoenix. An LA Lakers – Boston Celtics finals would be great – but I cannot see that happening because the Lakers need to meet certain teams to advance. Additionally, against the Celtics in the finals, I would have to pick Boston to win. I hope I am wrong.

  4. nobody plays well all the time, lakers finally got a squad. next man up!

  5. LeBron has to 100% be the presence on the team that he is. He’s a true leader especially off the court, and in especially the young guys minds. Even AD. When they’re in panic mode on offense they get LeBron the ball and let him reset, get in to another action, calm things down. There’s no doubt they look to him off court for advice, and the admiration for him is massive. I mean they literally make goat sounds after winning games when he comes in the lockerroom lol. Obviously it’s a joking thing, but the respect level is high. I’m sure guys are going to him for reassurance, we’ve even seen him draw up mfing plays mid-game ffs 😂.

So in that way, LeBron is and has to be the leader. When he’s going all out on both ends of the court, you see it be contagious. You also will see him give a lax performance and that be contagious. AD is maybe the one guy separate from that, he can absolutely go off even when LBJ is not trying his hardest, taking plays off, etc…but it seems as though most guys follow LBJ’s lead.

With all of that being said, AD HAS to be the best player. LeBron can give high effort on defense for long stints of ONE game if needed, but he can’t do it consistently anymore. That’s been the case for a while. AD can. He can be dominant on defense every night for 30+ mins when he’s healthy, and 40+ in games that are “must win” like G6 MEM. He usually brings it too. But when he brings the energy along with the defense, he’s getting involved on offense, (defense leading to offense is especially huge) it’s a different team. Darvin Ham absolutely needed to get AD involved with a few easy looks early to set the tone and that happened.

Once you see AD getting OREB, challenging shots and making ppl miss, (blk or not) then throwing down huge dunks…it’s absolutely contagious. LeBron didn’t have some crazy 40p game, he just played with energy and let the hot hand cook. He was clearly there though, communicating, congratulating guys on nice plays, but most importantly playing smart team bball. He didn’t jack a ton of atrocious lazy 3s. He set guys up (whether it was an asst, hockey asst, even just running a play for someone) as well as making sure he got some easy buckets himself. He played like an elite role player in this game pretty much.

That’s definitely the recipe. Obviously they got lucky in many ways, but they played as a unit, team defense led by AD the anchor, and efficient, smart offense which LeBron definitely reinforced by not chucking bad shots. Even setting screens 😂. Vando open in the corner is still very iffy and it’s something you have to worry about, whether he will hit enough to get guarded, gain the confidence to shoot that shot without hesitation, and hopefully become a 40% corner shooter. That won’t be this year that fast, but confidence goes a long way. A defense doesn’t want to look silly for leaving a guy then getting burnt repeatedly for it. Even if it’s just a 3-6 night here and there.

If Vando can have some corner gravity, that’ll help the offense immensely. It seems like they’re starting to really stick to Rui and not concede those open 3s to him. That’s an example of how fast things can change.

Anyway, LBJ needs to be the leader with his actions and words on and off the court. His body language. It’s a young team and that stuff truly matters (even though I think ppl have taken it too far in the regular season in the past) for sure. But AD has to be a leader by bringing the energy and hustle, intensity. A few AD rim contests where they miss badly even if it’s not a block, and then a huge dunk can go SO far. AD absolutely has to be the best player. E1 has bad games, shots don’t drop, but you can always get him involved with a lob or a rim run, and the energy has to be there. If LeBron can average in the low-mid 20s, and AD can be more of the guy who can go off for 40, with the supporting cast playing their roles…that’s their best chance. Also health, of course.

  6. This team is so dangerous bc they have 4 players not named Lebron & Ad who can go for 20+ on any given nite , AR , Dennis , DLo & Rui …. All have the potential to be the leading scorer on any given nite , which allows Bron & AD to just focus on defense & rebounding & allows Bron (especially) to have the closing energy if necessary… but if they can win , prime time playoff games with Bron and / or AD having to drop 30+ the league needs to look out !

  7. Morgan Freeman voice : I wish I could tell you that Ja morrant fought the good fight and that Lebron let him be. I wish I could tell you that, but Game 6 was no fairy tale world.

  8. Anthony Davis should have been in foul trouble in the first quarter the referee stopped blowing a whistle

  9. I’ve been waitin for Dlo to have a breakout game and he finally did. If Dlo can play anywhere close to that the league in trouble

  10. Im glad that you said that about AD. Thats exactly what I thought like what a minute he's a better defender than everybody? I feel like the media is always saying things I already thought and its like you guys are the ones in the first place who never talked about ad as being one of the best defenders

  11. I honestly think the lakers would destroy the warriors because they would be able to cope with the defense of the lakers I think it’s a really bad matchup for the warriors

  12. Bucks coach have to go😐He isn't playoff coach. He just won because Giánnis and his champ team😂

  13. Very dominant performance from the Lakers & AD

But dont forget to mention both

Steven Adams & Brandon Clark were missing.
