The whole attitude going into the playoffs was, βnext year will probably work better for us.β Memphis Grizzlies must avoid falling into the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators trap of saying we are a small market, stick with the process, a winning team and keeping exciting stars happy is more important than making the risky but necessary moves to impel a sense of urgency into the organizationβs championship run. You can only βgrowβ and βcontinue to improveβ for so long; like with the Titans and Preds, the window will pass you by.
12:25 HA!!! no mention of DILLON BROOKS in his message, uh oh so you know what that means, dillon will be on a team next season being Patrick Beverly teammate π π π
I didnβt feel we had enough to win this year and I stated that before the season. I felt like we rely too much on the draft and we need vets. But I do like the run we on so far. Gotta help the roster by adding vet depth
Stop trying to make Zaire good
Fired
Hopefully we got a new coach too. We could have easily lost 1st rd last yr too
Thanks Coach Taylor. I look forward to the future with you leading this team.
8:45 no mention of leaning on DB lol that's a good sign, hope they trade him
Dillon took the all star trade talk personal every since then he was looking out for his self
Memphis media wants everyone to believe that immaturity/trash talk led to the first round exit. That it had nothing at all to do with poor roster construction or poor coaching. No young team in history talked as much trash or danced as much as young Steph and those young Warriors yet they still created a dynasty. After their 1st round exit in 2014 they didn't say they were going to talk less…what they did was FIRE THE COACH and hired a new coach who was even more arrogant and talked even more trash. Grizzlies should fire Taylor Jenkins and hire a firery former player as coach like Sam Cassell, but they're not gonna do that…….and that's a shame.
Fire this man! If he canβt get his team under control, find someone who can. If he canβt get Dillon Bricks to stop shooting, he doesnβt deserve to be a coach. Not to mention they still havenβt figured out how to play 4 quarters. Every single game is either a slow start or a blown lead. This team is a national embarrassment. Iβm ashamed to be a fan of this team.
Jenkins and company really need to start utilising all of Steven Adams skillset. Donβt know how long we have been seeing the Big Kiwi practicing his 3pt shot but itβs time to give him the mandate to βlet it flyβ seems a waste to not utilise that part of his game as itβs obvious itβs going to wasteβ¦.food for thoughtβ¦.
Well Damn, that was a long list
Losing by 40 Points vs the Lakers, playing 2 horrible games – is a huge disappointment. I dont see from these interviews that the Coach understands that ! π³
The story has been skewed the team is injury ridden so players were in unusual positions. When Luke went down it was over. The Lakers should have won all they had to do was crowd the paint
Did this dude give himself a list?
Hard to win Playoffs with out OREB…Be good once STEVO is back too…..Ziaire????
I honestly don't think Tyler is the best coach for this team, but he's not bad.
