  1. Ayton is hot garbage. When dude was just standing there watching KD fight for a rebound I damn near through my tv out the window.

  2. i think one way to “slow” murray down is hunt him when he’s playing defense, make him defend MAYBE he’ll miss a couple of those big shots if he has tired legs.

  3. JJ wants Phoenix to win so badly. 😂

When Denver wins Games 2 & 3, I’ll be interested to see his revised take.

  4. The big thing is Nuggets are happily allow Phx to go take tuff 2's, If phx hit 3's nugggets are in trouble

  5. I've watched every Nugget game this year. Suns are toast. I have Nugs in five but I may have been one game off, Nugs in 4.😮

  6. The NBA is literally waiting for Jokic to take a bad L so they can Snub him from MVP 😂😂😂 don’t even try to deny it; just watch it happen

  7. Okogie was being dragged around by Murray, thought he got a lot of rest from the first series. Shamet can't be guarding Murray. Ayton needs to step up on boards and defense not on offense.

  8. It's so weird as a Nuggets fan to hear praise. I know JJ has defended and talked about Jokic's game, but we have consistently made it to the playoffs, and then consistently been exposed for our lack of defense and options. It's amazing how this team has been bolstered in the off season to make the necessary changes it needed. Furthermore, to have pieces that complemented the fact that both MPJ and Murray were coming back into the line-up. I still think this series will get competitive, and we're not going to see another blowout while these two teams match up.

  9. Man if only the Suns had a perimeter defender like Mikal Bridges to guard Jamal Murray.

  10. Phoenix has no Defense to defend Jokic and Murray.
Usually it's Bridges Cam Johnson that handles the perimeter players.
    Ayton cant guard Jokic
KD plays defense but not enough to stop the depth of Denver

  11. Y’all hate to see superteams fail lol stop with the Durant sympathy he sold it for a ring he will never be better than homegrown stars

  12. Monty Williams need to play Terrence Ross, TJ Warren , bench Shamet. Assign fresh bodies to throw out at Murray.

  13. the nuggets aren't a deep team. It's kind of crazy how little the expectations are for the suns. the suns have more talent than the nuggets actually. if they lose it will be them underachieving

  14. Watch adam marez breakdown of the nuggets 1st game, pheonix is outmatched. They have to play nearly perfect to even be close

  15. No one fair ayton with they go to the rim smh ayton can’t defend no one smh dude should be getting 3 plus blocks a game smh

  16. tbh, i;ve been watching all season nuggets games, and i dont remember any losses where the opposing team significantly beat the nuggets. when the nuggets lost this season, i've always been so mad because of their failures, ie. to defend or to shoot the ball. seriously, when they don't hit their shots, it's so frustrating cus i know they can do it, what's so different tonight? that's my reaction every time they lose.

  17. What's working against the Suns is shot selection and rebounding. For the playoffs so far 27.2 percent of the Suns shots have been 3s, versus 39.2 percent for the league. Even though Phoenix shot 51.2% from the field, they only made 7-23 threes, with 8 tries coming in garbage time in the 4th quarter. The Nuggets also grabbed 11 more rebounds than the Suns, including an eye watering 16 orebs. While rebounds can be somewhat evened out if Phoenix grows a pair and a spine, their genetic predisposition that's averse to shooting 3's could cripple them. Add to that the rank ineptitude of Deandre Ayton's passing ability, he missed multiple chances to kick to Durant and Booker for open threes, and you get a recipe for a quick second round ejection. While Phoenix is godlike from midrange, they are prone to settling for 15 footers in a league where 3pt shooting rules the day. The Nuggets were outshot 51%-47% yet they won by 18, mostly because of the massive triple disparity, 7-23 vs 16/37.

  18. The suns don't have many players besides their starting 5. But I don't understand I thought Terrence Ross was really good or decent at least. I've seen him go off on teams why isn't he playing

  19. As a suns fan, we need another solid wing, who can 3 and d like mikal bridges 😢

  20. Funny how quick y’all switch up. What happened? I thought it was all about the nuggets have no way of stopping the suns?

  21. I’m not gonna act like I know what the hell JJ is talking about in the first 5 minutes.

  22. Denver in 4. there's friction within the suns team. ayton isn't comfortable which shows in his performance. if suns have a chance to win this series and play in the Western conference finals. booker has to drop 40 for suns to have a chance to win. kd has to dominate. feels like he's slowing his dominance down. but i stay with my pick. Denver in four.

  23. I watched the game nuggets are far superior to the suns,, I think the suns will win 1 game at best

  24. Its a bit more than the jokic and murray 2-man game its the depth and the suns lack of defense they still have to worry about AG, MPJ, KCP and bruce brown who can all give you 20 at any given night the suns dont have that kind of depth the nuggets are taking this in 6

  25. Suns are to small the nuggets are gonna bully them out this series you got jokic and porter, Gordon getting easy buckets inside and the midrange all day which open up the easy 3 point attempt from the guard.

  26. on paper, denver seems unstoppable, you got the MVP of the league, jamal murray the creator and scorer, the shooter MPJ, the defender and spot up shooter KCP, the size an athleticism of aaron gordon and a good bench..

  27. I see 3 huge problems for the Suns in this series.
    1. Ayton is to soft to pose any problems for Jokic.
    2. CP3 is too old to keep up with Murray.
    3. Suns bench is significantly weaker than Nuggets bench, which forces their starters (who have two old players in KD and CP3) to play more minutes, physically draining them as the series advances.

  28. The PnR with Ayton should be equally as hard. Suns gonna have to go zone, but Monty doesn’t like to

  29. A Gordan will eat this round. He was struggling because he is smaller than Kat/Gobert. But now he basically has an advantage against everyone on the Suns. Ayton is way too weak to defend AG.

  30. The background you've chosen takes away from the things you're saying. Please make new background that makes less of a modern statement. A mellow sports themed studio would work well.

  31. bro you need to be a daily guest on First Take with the playoffs continuing. All Stephen A and Kendrick Perkins do is give their take, then literally name the entire roster, that's it. Not even exaggerating. There's no actual basketball analysis, which you provide

  32. Ayton looks like he is doubting every decision before he does anything. The dude plays like he is mentally slow.

  33. Suns will NOT!!!!! win this series this a whole different Denver team they added four new key role player they did not have two years ago or last year they also have a healthy Michael Porter Jr unlike last time and it healthy Jamal Murray they added like I said four players this is a whole different animal no Denver's going to destroy Phoenix the Suns will get lucky to win one game

  34. It took KD playing 40 minutes and Booker playing the best ball of his career to beat the Clippers bench. Unless both KD and Book score 35 each game going forward I’m not sure what their path to victory is even with a hindered Nikola, I can only imagine what it would be with him healthy, maybe Nuggets in 5?
