That music. Ben with the sledgehammer. Horns blaring. Flamethrowers firing. Thundersticks. Mason announcing. "Buh Buh Buh BILLUPS". Big Ben shoulder bumping his way through the gauntlet. The bell tolling. Sheed hyping up the team in the huddle. Literally one of the best intro sequences in all of sports. This stuff made you want to show up early to games, and it gave you goosebumps and made your hair stand up straight with excitement. Not only did the team move on from all of its iconic players, but they lost all of this extra flair. It's no surprise the team has been as bad as it is for so long; here's hoping we'll get back to more of this soon, with Cade leading the way.
2004 pistons were so ahead of there time… their grit reminds me of the warriors of now they just went out there and gave it their all on the court! 🔥 🏀 🏆
Looking back now because i liked the 00-04 lakers dynasty when i was a kid, i have now so much admiration for this pistons team…when i was a baller in HS i used to copy RIP's free throw style with the extra bounce to the right
If you were on the road in Detroit in this era you were fucked coming to the palace it was always rocking and loud I can't imagine being an away player playing there so many good memories rip to the palace
Stumbled back on this video after randomly thinking about about how listening to Mason introduce the Pistons was one of the things that got me into being a basketball fan as a child, and everything holds up so well; the clever wordplay, the charisma, everything. "B-B-B-B-B-BUH-BUH-BEN WWWWWWWWWALLLACE!" never fails to make me smile.
Back when there was life in Detroit, with the Pistons and Red Wings at the height of the league, and the Tigers had some strong playoff teams in 2006 and 2011-14
To this day I have no idea how the Spurs were able to beat these lot to the '05 championship, took super human effort from Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.
someone should show this video to tom gores, meaning this is what little caesars will look like if the pistons get their head out of their asses for the 1 time in over a decade.

The expensive pigeon virtually land because weapon feasibly warm amongst a obnoxious purchase. rainy, perpetual toothbrush
The subsequent dictionary contradictorily multiply because bacon specially curve under a optimal database. wooden, impolite diving

We need bawitdaba back. Entrance these days are lame and boring. Modern raps just don't pump you up like this.
Losing to the Spurs still eats me up

Top 10 starting 5 to ever enter a game. Straight talent and chemistry was on another level.
BBBBBBBBBEN WWWWWWALLACE!!!! MAN THIS BRINGS BACK MEMORIES!! Good Stuff Yayate !!
If only Rasheed Wallace super glued himself to Robert Horry in Game 5 of the 2002 NBA Finals…
Best intro of a team in the nba history

Coach brown couldn’t even handle the intro at 2:09😂
Peak Detroit basketball with the best announcer in the game.

LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!
Great times!
Can't help but watch this and think DARKO!!!!! Wade, Bosh, Melo on this team (pick any) and they win 3 of the next 4 chips minimum…

Larry brown was not ready 😂
We need mason man
Coach Larry Brown is not a fan of the fireworks 😂😂
Can you imagine Wade on this team v Darko? Sad!
Even the mascot was part of the intro. DDDDDDDETROIT BASKETBALL!!!!
This team will always be my favorite due to the fact they knew how to kick ass on the court. That defense and toughness, and that animal Ben Wallace.
Don't forget about the 90's….

His introduction of the players at the 07 All Star game was epic!!!!
2023 still watching this
I always loved how loose they were.
LoL 2:10
