Should the Pelicans try load management?
I fdon't know how you can load manage a guy who nevcer plays like Zion- he is the ultimate load manager
No the key is for them to start training like a men.
Today's NBA is apparently to soft going by what many NBA legends are saying.
And apparently many of them feel that's why there's so many injuries because they don't properly workout like they should especially during the off-season.
I think Brandon Ingram tries his best so this isn't directly towards him but…..
Zion needs to get off his stepfather's tit and start being a man 🙄 yeah I said it!!!!
If my memory is correct, the team was the healthiest under Van Gundy and those "very" long practices. Maybe practicing hard conditions the body and is the antidote to the injury bug.
If they want to “load manage” their players might as well pay them like they’re “load managing”
Ha! You picked my question! Thanks for the shoutout, Jake. Look, I’m not a huge believer in load management and you covered all of the right data points in arguing against it. At this point, I’m just looking for a different result… 🙂
Ummm if it didn’t work for the clippers then why would we try😂
Just Play Zion after all star break so he can play in the playoffs.
SVG, Coach K, and also you, Jake, agrees that maybe the best way to manage them or get them in shape is to see them in court and playing.
Rockin the GL shirt !!
It actually looks like over the last few seasons it seems the evidence points to load management causing more injuries
I need to do better and make sure I watch all these and like. Not enough Pels content out there, so yeah – I want to do better. Thanks for the exceptional content, Jake.
Appreciate you Jake! How about reducing the number of minutes BI and Zion play when absolutely not needed? Injuries often occur when a player has played too many minutes without a break…
You could manage Zion's load by playing him only 20 games each season or better yet don't play him at all. 💡
