Clippers got something in Moose (a 5-star recruit coming into college). He’s made an all-g league team. He’s clearly dominating there. He needs to come up to the NBA now. We need to sign him to an actual contract and give meaningful playing time next year. We are missing rebounding, athleticism on defense, and hustle. Those are the exact things Moussa brings. I miss Hartenstein but we have Moussa now.

And speaking of the young guys, tbh we are wasting Brandon Boston. I’ll admit I am not the biggest Boston Jr fan. But I can’t deny what he did against the Celtics last season, 27 pts and 4 stls and a game winner https://youtu.be/RPqK0gNZGMY. His defense is underrated. He has some dog in him. He needs more minutes.
Jason Preston, who knows what we have with him but he’s essentially entering his second year in the league. Tbh unless he gets more athletic I’m okay with not giving this guy any minutes. He lacks explosiveness as a point guard and doesn’t make up for it with anything else.
Coffey is a decent backup guy off the bench. He can run the floor, make shots, and be aggressive. He could’ve played minutes this year.
We’ve been developing these guys for what? They have almost no trade value cuz they never get minutes. They take up roster space. And they might actually be good.
We should play them at least for the sake of dangling them as trade pieces. And if one of them starts breaking out, hell yea.
They’re def better than Marcus Morris and Moses Brown.
We had a too many guys problem last year. And a lot of them are slow and old like Zu and Morris. I hope we trade at least those two away.
But all in all, if we don’t do any of the above, at the very least, we need more Moose. I think he’ll be a real answer for us.
