[Kyle Neubeck] Embiid on Harden’s impact: “James, i don’t even know where to start. Since he’s been here, he won’t tell me that but i think he’s kind of made his goal for me to be MVP. He has given up a lot”

And in return, get Harden a championship.

This gotta be such a morale booster for the whole squad, they will feel unbeatable when the big fella steps on the floor again!

What I wouldn’t give to see these two shed all the bullshit narratives that plague their careers with a championship this year, holy shit

Harden doesn’t get enough credit. He simply is NOT a selfish player, in fact the exact opposite. He wants to win above all. I didn’t know much about Harden from years ago but this was not the vibe I got from the rest of the league.

Harden knows what it’s like to come up short multiple years as runner up MVP. I feel like these two just ‘get’ each other

  6. Nothing is a better culture setter than when your #2 guy buys in to being the #2 guy for the sake of winning. If your #2 guy says I’m gonna make the #1 guy the best he can be, no one else on the team has an excuse to not buy in or gripe about their role. PJ is the same. He knows his job is to set screens for Harden and cover his defensive inabilities on the perimeter. If he knows his job and does it, no one else has an excuse.

I think Harden has one goal in mind: to win the chip and do whatever it takes.
