Jamal and Porter know they can’t go cold like that. But we Nuggets fans know that when Jokic sees the team is struggling he will take the necessary shots. No, it’s not his first thought. He’s a passer first and a playmaker, but he can make shots and take over games if need be.
But they didn’t “struggle all year on defense”. They struggled for about the first month and a half of the season with their defense. And since then it’s been on point.
The talking heads just have NEVER paid attention to the Nuggets and they just don’t want to admit it.

I was at the game. I'm glad that the nuggets won but the refs made this game hard to watch.
