I swear the 2022-23 Grizzlies have to be the only team in NBA history to dominate headlines for stupid ass shit after being eliminated in the playoffs. I knew we were hated, but are we genuinely so hated that it drives THIS MUCH engagement?

Seems obvious to me that Shams did a hit on both Memphis and Brooks here. So think about who might want that.

I miss the days when no one paid attention to us. Grizzlies basketball used to be like “our little secret” and we could enjoy our team in peace. I mean its a sign we’re becoming true contenders but it still sucks to see the media and league picking on us. We barely have any fans and are such a small market team (even compared to other small market teams). All this stuff will make winning a chip that much better because we know who the real ones are. It’s crazy Skip Bayless was our biggest media supporter (bleh) and even he hates us now. We don’t have many people in the media in our corner either. Being a grizzlies fan is representative of how the city is, alone and forced to face challenges alone.
