Something I’ve been working on for a year and a half. Initially wanted to have it done for the 75th anniversary at All Star Weekend, but got humbled quickly when I realized the scope of what I was trying to accomplish.

Gahdayum that is gorgeous.
I especially like that some of the players are in iconic poses (e.g. Kawhi’s quadruple doink shot, Kareem Skyhook, Bill Russell blocking).

It’s ironic that right in the middle of the NBA 75 montage is a picture of an ABA player (or more accurately, a player who never played in the NBA with the Nets).
In a way it’s appropriate though – it was the ABA style of play that largely won the “war” with the NBA and has been primarily used in the NBA (more than the 1970s NBA style of play) over the last 40 years.
This is awesome.
As my eyes shoot across the illustration from legend to legend, it feels like I’m time traveling. Magical moments in time captured in this one picture.

First of all; this is astounding. The effort it must have taken blows my mind.
Second of all; you have to be the guy who uploaded the “get Carmelo” YouTube meme vid all those years ago because there’s no legitimate reason as to why Carmelo is drawn bigger than Magic and Bird, as if he’s one of the main characters in league history lmao.

why is melo so much bigger than some other greats? Anyway incredible work. You could tailor this to each fanbase where their teams star are bigger and more pronounced while others are in the background. I’d buy one with dirk in the middle.
Also, if you’re going to sell it, some artists have reported being sued by a tiny number of athletes and nearly went bankrupt. So, y’know. Be cautious.
