This team needs to be punched in the mouth to respond sometimes like this

  2. Embiid: ā€œ Iā€™m backā€

Who knew that Embiid was the lucky charm we needed

  4. aja_ramirez

Good win. Weā€™re still in a little bit of a hole so the team needs to stay locked in. Getting game 3 would definitely calm the nerves Iā€™ll say that.

  5. crackdup

Not sure whose soul Brad sold to the devil to get us Brogdon, but man what an insane deal!

  6. #THATā€™S MALCOLM BROGDON, SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR, TO YOU.

  7. Rashloose

Everything Malcom said before the game came true. I can’t remember the last time a player said something they were going to do went true

  8. JaysonBaetum

Itā€™s Malcolm Brogdonā€™s world Iā€™m just living in it

Sixers fans: The Celtics are cooked! We just beat them without Embiid!

The Celtics: *Proceeds to beat the Sixers by 30+ without Tatum when they have Embiid*

  10. Brad-Stevens

Jaylen ALWAYS sets the tone when the team needs a lift … Carried us scoring in the 1st and guarded Harden well

    Pritchard outscores Tatum lol

Bring the juice game 3 to get back homecourt

  11. iAmTheRealLange

I said last game that I believed we wouldā€™ve won if Embiid played. Philly plays so slow when heā€™s on the court, and Horford matches up well with him.

Joeā€™s adjustments deserve to be praised. The defensive scheme on Harden tonight was completely different and so much more effective. The effort was clearly there all night. They went back to Joeā€™s ā€œI like threesā€ plan and it worked. Embiid was forced to chase on defense and it wore him out. They got Jaylen involved early and *kept* him involved.

GINO TIME. FAST PP. MOOSE LOOSE. POP THE CHAMPAGNIE.

Fantastic performance. Kept the turnovers low and played hard. Jaylen, Smart, Brogdon, Grant etc. were great

  13. Insidestr8

Single word that would describe this game is “purposeful”. You felt like every possession when it counted was scripted, and everyone was playing their role.

Defense was locked down, and it slowed the pace where we have a huge edge. None of that haphazard let’s shoot non stop 3’s and hope for the best mentality.

  14. dancingsushi

you love seeing them Bus One Boys come out.
Also ruining the MVP’s return, fuck the sixers

  15. ThanosIsDoomfist

Huh, so thats the difference when Harden doesnt play the best playoff game of his career and we dont give up 15+ turnovers? Shocker!

Oh no!!!! Cs in 5 like none of us expected!!

  18. JasonTatumisGod

We needed that, not just the dub but an absolute blowout. Been a while since we straight up kicked someoneā€™s ass. But itā€™s still just one win, gotta come out Friday and play with the same defensive intensity and get one down there.

  19. teito321

Dude who made the post about firing Mazulla needs to take some laps

  20. StingraySteves4head

Marcus Smart continues to play winning basketball

  21. FeelGoodIncs

JT realized he didnt have it going too much and kept the ball moving and played good defense. He got unlucky with foul trouble aswell. But seeing him play smart still and be +24 in just 19 minutes despite all those issues was great to see.

  22. maize_and_beard

Genuinely think the people saying Tatum was ā€œterribleā€ watched a different game. He got in foul trouble early, missed a few shots and mostly played excellent defense and facilitated well on offense outside of that. Thatā€™s exactly how he should play when heā€™s having an off day.

  23. 693275001

If Marcus and Jaylen defend like that for 48 minutes this series is a cake walk.

Jaylen picking up Harden 94 feet was super impactful.
