Skill wise Kyrie is probably better – but cost wise, it’s a not a question. You’d have to severely hamstring the team to bring him in.
Just a guess, but I’d guess that the Lakers window is like the next 2 seasons or bust. I’d see LeBron going for one last ride in the 2024-2025 season, even if his son is in his first year, and then play with him the second year after that wherever he is.
Of course you have to bring back Reaves, too.
I’d love to see Schroeder too but idk if the money is there for him. Dude definitely deserves another big pay day and is in the late stage of his career, so he’ll probably take whatever gives him the most (as he should).

Wiggins took a team friendly deal and that was coming off a title run as the 2nd best player. I think $25 million a year is fair for D’lo and $18-20 million for Reaves.
Sadly I doubt Dennis comes back but he might pull a Bobby Portis and angle for early bird rights in a year.

We’re losing DS imo but hopefully can bring back Brown Jr, on the TPMLE, and Wenyen on the minimum.
Ideally, we use Bamba and/or Beasley’s contract to bring in some other pieces. I feel like the FO is bringing the 3 – Rui, Reaves, and DLo though, and they might cheap out from there.

Kyrie is not my kind of guy, but he sure has talent, and he sells seats. No one’s coming to a Laker game from the “buzz” Dlo makes. I’m still waiting for the 3 point breakout game from him. He was 1 for 5 from 3point. In game 1, not getting max contract from that performance.
