Stats and how much he impacts winning on his team would say that Jokic wins in a landslide. It's not even close statistically. He whined and complained and Jokic didn't care about winning it as much so Embiid got it. Good for him.
Embid is the mvp of flopping.
Embiid got the award out of pity. Did everyone miss game 2 Nuggets vs Suns? Without Jokic, Denver wouldn't even be in the playoffs and Philly beat Boston without Embiid. After all, that's what the award is for; the most valuable player, and they gave it to a guy who's injured half the time and the team still succeeds without him. They may as well have given the award to Tyrese Maxey because in terms of value, he carries the team just as much and takes less than 10% the salary cap space of Embiid.

JOKIC DESERVES IT
Him playing hurt the Sixers as Harden and Maxey couldn’t get off cuz he had the ball quite often. Understandably as he provides rim protection and gets rebounds. However, it’s a weird dynamic to see them play together. I would even say they look better without him. And yes, you were right @NBA Chev, Boston shot 3s lights out☄️
