Krawczynski Relitigating the Gobert Trade in The Athletic

I think Krawczynski is really good, I’ve read him a bunch since the Gobert trade last summer. I’ll link the [whole article here](https://theathletic.com/4485306/2023/05/04/rudy-gobert-trade-timberwolves-what-next/), but I thought this paragraph was super interesting. It describes how people view Gobert really well.

>The issue for Gobert, in my estimation, is that his mistakes are loud. When he drops a pass that hits his hands, when he flubs a layup at the rim, when he awkwardly tries to make a move to the basket, the aesthetics of his offensive game can be hard on the eyes. Gobert is not disliked in the locker room, but there may be a lack of appreciation for his game. Some of his teammates see the clunky mechanics and can get flustered, while some of the winning plays he makes and the defensive instincts and positioning he has are more subtle. It’s why his ex-Jazz teammates said it took a year for them to learn how to play with him and understand the impact that he makes.

The Jazz don’t own the Timberwolves 2024 pick, so I hope Gobert has a career year next year and I know a lot of Jazz fans feel similarly. I’m all for a Jazz-Wolves 2024 WCF.

Why exactly would we want Minnesota to be good in 2024 when we have their pick in 2025?
