Its why I’m glad the nets got knocked out even though they’re pretty likeable guys

  2. It would be an anti-ring. A constant reminder that the championship (assuming we won) was only possible because he got shipped out.

  3. That means that we win the title and I don’t give a shit if it costs Jeannie 10 grand.

  4. Poopscooper696969

Westbrook won us some games earlier in the season, and Beverley made some clutch plays. Let them have it. It means Lakers winning the championship, so I’d be happy with that

    >During an appearance on the Pat Bev Podcast with Rone (10:18 mark), Beverley said he ran into his former teammate in the gym.

Very weird to call it an “appearance” on his own podcast.

Would he get a ring? Yes

    Does he deserve it? No

The team did a complete 180 since he left. Not that it’s completely Westbrooks fault but his fit with Lebron and AD was awful.

  7. cloudtakeflight

in this scenario, he gets a ring but his resume wont have 1x nba champ right?

  8. HughGRextion

we gave one to boogie and troy daniels in 2020 so i’m sure the guys we traded at the deadline get one too 🫡

  9. Supra_Dupra

I think Westbrook deserves the ring because if they didn’t have Westbrook they would have never realized how shitty they actually are as a team when they were forced to trade players away. Honestly give him finals MVP too if they win it all.

  10. bula1brown

“I was the trade that made it happen” LMAO

  11. styfle852

I mean, they can collect their rings if the Lakers choose to give it to them but nobody is gonna say Russ and Pat Bev are NBA champions lol

  12. chief_sief69

Might as well give all those picks they traded rings too

  13. RedAvert

Give it to them. He was not a good fit but anyone part of the season should get a ring unless they did something egregious to the org.

  14. I think it’s weird to get a ring if you left the team mid season.

  15. whydoesgodhateus

If anything, they should send one to Ainge

  16. Official_Godfrey_Ho

If he had any self respect he’d turn that shit down if it was offered to him. How could he look at that in his home and not be embarrassed.

  17. BigBallerBrad

Fuck man I hope none of the Celtics ever become podcast snitches

  18. devlinx4

He can get his ring, but he won’t considered a champion. Big difference.

  19. KevinHate

Pat Bev and Westbrook ABSOLUTELY deserve a ring if the Lakers win it all. Their departures are probably the number one reason the Lakers started winning.

  20. FieldFamiliar3920

They might not have made the play-ins without him, as they would have made the playoffs.

  21. trojan_man16

He can have his ring if he wants. Historically it won’t really make his legacy look better since he wasn’t an actual contributor.

Hell we still don’t consider Elgin Baylor an NBA champion even though he retired midway through the 72 season. The Lakers won that year.

  22. turtle33_

If you aren’t on the roster going into the playoffs then you shouldn’t be given a ring if the team wins, this isn’t rocket science

  23. This is the exact type of reason he’ll never win a ring. Dude is just fuckin soft as hell. He’ll get his ring tho from the Lakers that’s for sure.

  24. sunchipsgardensals

if Warriors gotta lose for Westbrook to get a ring I can honestly stomach it. I love westbrook

  25. Zeetheking1

Lol the lakers are a classy organization so they will def offer it to him, but nobody is going to think of him as an nba champion. It’ll just be jewelry. 🤷🏽‍♂️

  26. Genestah

Let’s just give a ring to whoever wants one.

I don’t fucking care if the Lakers give every single NBA player a fucking ring.

But I do care that it means we are hanging banner NUMBER 18.

So yeah, rings for everyone who wants one.

  27. PepperidgeFarmMembas

If Elgin Baylor can walk around claiming he’s a champion then Russ can too

  28. GeorgeLovesBOSCO

Russ plays both sides, so he always comes out on top.

  29. Chipdouglas0007

He’ll get a ring and deserve it, just as much as Adam morrison

  30. Bunch of those early wins can be attributed to Russ, I mean a bunch of the losses too, but point still stands.

  31. gazregen

I believe Russ SHOULD get a ring. He showed the Lakers in a timely fashion that they needed a new structure by moving some pieces around. On the strengh of that alone and to claim that he achived with Bron what he could never With KD he should get that Ring.

  32. TwitchTVBeaglejack

If Lakers win, give Russ his ring. The organization signed him and the organization traded him and vilified him. He deserves a ring. He didn’t construct the problematic roster and enduring tons of crazy shit-talking and gave 100%.

  33. Ickythumpin

I’d DeRozan didn’t get a ring from the Kawhi Raptors championship, then these guys definitely don’t lol

  34. gr8scottaz

The Colts gave Edgerrin James a ring the year after he left for the Cardinals and they won their Championship. Dude didn’t even play a single down for the Colts that year and got one.
