Trading with Portland

Hey folks, Portland fan coming to test the waters and hear what you all think about the idea of trading with Portland. I know most people outside of Oregon think the Blazers should trade Dame and rebuild. IMO that’s very much within the realm of possibility this Summer (or perhaps at the deadline if we try to go for it and it fizzles). If we did trade Dame, it would almost for sure mean we were going full rebuild youth movement around Sharpe and Simons, plus our pick this Summer and whatever picks and prospects we bring back. Bigger vet contracts would be heading out the door. The Dame era ends and the Sharpe era begins. What does that trade actually look like?

I’m also curious though about what it might look like for Bridges to come to Portland. I have this idea I keep kicking around where Bridges comes to Portland, Anfernee Simons goes to Orlando (where he grew up) and both teams send a bunch of picks and prospects to Brooklyn. Let’s say for this hypothetical that Portland lands the 3rd pick, that Dame and Sharpe are off table, and I’d guess Paolo and Franz are off the table for Orlando. Outside of that, are there players and picks held by Portland and Orlando (mostly Orlando since Portland is already giving up Simons) that in combination would be enough for Nets fan to feel okay about letting go of Bridges?

Thanks for reading and responding. Been a Brooklyn fan since Spot Collins, hope I’m not being a pest. If Dame does end up a Net, I’ll be rooting for y’all to get him a ring.
