I Expect Anthony Edwards to go forward being a top 10 player in the league & being in the MVP race year in & year out.

I think this was the last year where people are sleeping on him. Next year will be where he shows everybody he is near to stay for a long time! This year was a disappointment but everybody should be happy about the potential of him & Mcdaniels

As long as he is there you got nothing to worry about. D Book had to go through it first few years and he wasnā€™t even making the playoffs. I see Ant šŸœ clearing him Eventually

I expect him to be a modern day D Wade.

He’s going to get at least 1 MVP vote next season, book it. He loves the responsibility and the pressure.

And assuming everyone is healthy, the team will finish with 5-10 more wins than this year, and will win a first round playoff series.

We’ve had several great bigs who were ideal #2’s on title contender teams (KG, Love, KAT), but we now finally have that #1 perimeter player that you usually need to legit contend for a title. The closest we’ve ever had to that in Timberwolves history is old ass Sam Cassell and the one sane Jimmy Butler season, and those were some of our more successful seasons in franchise history.

Aaaaaaand there’s this other kid named “Jaden Williams”, who is also pretty good at basketball.

Even after sending all our draft picks for the next 30 years to Utah for Gobert, I still feel like the future is pretty bright for the Timberwolves.

Comparing him to D ‘Wade is an insult. D’Wade was a small guard flopper who couldn’t score without help from officials. Ant scores like a man the only comparisons are LeBron, MJ and Kobe. Those are his peers.

Not gonna lie, Iā€™m still scared to have expectations. Iā€™m worried my expectations for him are too high and Iā€™ll be disappointed.
But he keeps proving me wrong. His playoff series this year made it so so clear heā€™ll be in the MVP race in the future. Still scared to expect anything, I just want to bask in whatever he becomes

doubt finch is gonna suddenly create an offense that revolves around ant for that to happen

It can and will happen as long as he starts getting the calls he deserves. He was absoutely hammered in that Denver series without any calls, and I could tell he was frustated (can’t blame him). That’s the nexts step. Will the refs and NBA respect him enough to give him the calls.
