I love Anthony as a prospect and think he fits perfectly as the 3 next to Luka/Kyrie. His impressive defense aside, we saw how important it is to have 3 ballhandlers on the court during crunch time and Black would be an immediate third ballhandler. He’d act like Dinwiddie- help bring the ball up, initiate a set, cut to the basket, and drive the weakside when the ball swings. Once he finds his shot he’ll be ever more impactful.
With his size I think he can also slide up to the 4 in small ball sets, allowing Green to play the 3 which adds another perimeter defender and quasi-ballhandler to the mix.
Luka-Kyrie-Green-Black-Maxi would be a pretty devastating smallball lineup to throw out there.
Edit: I know people have their hearts set on Hendricks, but as we get closer to the draft it seems more likely that he’s gone before #10. I think Black/Wallace/Dick are who we will be really keeping our eyes on.
