The takes that are about to fly in this thread.

    Buckle up yall.

  2. HokageEzio

Win Game 4 it’s a 2-2 series and none of this matters. Can’t take the points with you, it’s just one loss. If they can’t respond they were never winning this series to begin with. Handle your business or don’t 🤷‍♂️

  3. jester32

No cap most important game for the franchise in at least 15 years and this egg is laid. Idk maybe we’re cursed or something

  4. CoaBret

At least this type of losing isn’t even frustrating. You just accept it for what it is at some point. Our team is a bunch of bums incapable of shooting over TWENTY FUCKING PERCENT from 3 in the year of our Lord 2023.

  5. PatrollerAZ

gotta win next game or its pretty much over

  6. nsp242424

gotta add some 3 point shooters for next season

  7. shadowrabbit

We can complain about the refs or coaching adjustments or whatever but the fact is this team is completely built on winning on the boards. If Miami is going to out-rebound us then that’s it, we’re not winning.

  8. Chr1s78987x

    >tHiBs iS AN IdiOT

Lmfao we had 40 open threes and only hit 8

  9. knickabockerplz

Realllly regretting buying a flight and tickets to game 4 right now.

  10. Expensive-Buy1621

We shot the exact same from 3 as game 1 😭

  11. joorral

My biggest issue was the effort on the 50-50 balls all game. Heat just wanted it more. Game 4 is a must win. No excuses or go home early

  12. dangerzone3278

That second unit looks absolutely lost. Idk if it’s Josh playing with the first team, but if it is, I think it’s worth the switch. Butler still dropping 30 on you with a bum ankle

  13. Austuckmm

This is one to throw out. Played soft, couldn’t hit shit, refs sucked.

On to the next, just make it 2-2.

  14. Affectionate-Tea9224

Most embarrassing performance of the season, and their abysmal shooting wasn’t even the worst part..now we have a banged up IQ and Brunson looks hurt as well..disaster

    New York Sports:

Where offense goes to the die and the lows are lower than our 3FG%.

Pray that the Knicks find their way off the bus by Monday 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

  16. zeezee2k

I’ve never seen so many opposing fans in our game threads, so many trashy fans.

  17. zOmgFishes

We went from the bench being our weapon to not having a bench.

  18. kidkuro

I don’t want to see Josh Hart start another game for the rest of the postseason.

  19. disgusting game..

Thibs HAS to change the starting lineup next game. Hart, RJ and a paint-bound center does not work, our spacing is completely fucked

our lack of shooting is getting exposed hard

  20. crammotron

Knicks are so far from being a contending team.

This season fools gold just like 2 years ago.

  21. intothefire3

Not sure if we win another game. Ugh.

  22. TechnoTyrannosaurus

These guys played more minutes while losing by 20 lmao

  23. Lovejones722

Thibs has to seriously look in the mirror. He’s being severely out coached by a less talented roster. I’m not trying to be pessimistic but Miami figured us out. If we come back out with the same game plan this series is over in 5. Simple

  24. newbike07

    **Randle:** 4-15

    **Brunson:** 7-20

    **Barrett:** 5-16

Knicks will never win a game when all 3 of them shoot this badly.

We just don’t have the secondary scorers.

  25. We did our best stormtrooper impersonation today.

  26. SamuraiRapper

Just winged the entire offense whole game smh

  27. Hi-Welcome-To-Chilis

Robinson was unplayable. Incredible after how he dominated Mobley and Allen

  28. i_am_the_senate_

Seems like a good time to remind everyone that no one even thought we’d be in the playoffs this season. This Miami team is more experienced and better coached and that’s why we’re down 2-1. Good news is we have all the assets in the world to make a move to upgrade this team. Lots of concerns about Thibs, his lack of adjustments is killing us

  29. IGS2001

Knicks fans showed up in south Florida only for randle to play like it was a scrimmage game. I understand if you shoot like shit but playing with no effort is non excusable.

  30. Okieant33

This one’s on Thibs and Randle. Thibs needs to trust Grimes to start because Hart is being challenged to shoot and he can’t get hot like Grimes can and its killing the flow of the offense. I usually defend Julius but today he was beyond terrible. Mitch has looked absolutely lost.

We also probably spent way too much time prepping for the Heat zone and they played man most of the game. We had no prep for either.

JB is trying but he doesn’t have enough help on offense. IQ had some moments and I hope he’s ok. But you can’t let Kyle Lowry embarrass you.

  31. rent-a-john

I don’t think we should be doubling jimmy so much. They have him surrounded with shooters and just swing around and get open 3s, it’s not like the cavs. And we are using so much energy constantly rotating that I feel like the offense is suffering from it.

  32. WearSomeClothes

Thibs has been outcoached this series.

  33. hamsickle

They’re not good enough to beat the heat. Period. Barely beat the role players without butler.

  34. This was a total team failure. Nothing more, nothing less.

With how badly we got beat, I really don’t like our chances for game 4. If we got beat as badly as we did here, there’s no reason why it can’t happen again.

Without knowing IQ’s status, I would think Deuce takes that spot. Probably more defensive upside with a downgrade in shooting. IQ was off off, so maybe Deuce provides a boost? Who knows honestly.

What’s the starting lineup for game 3 going to be? Grimes at the starting 2 and Hart coming off the bench seems like it has to be done, but with Grimes’s shoulder, does it actually happen?

31-91 FGM-A and 8-40 3PM-A just cannot happen. Doesn’t matter how many shooters you have or don’t have. Also, no excuse for poor effort, which I saw too many instances of this game. Not just low physical effort, but also poor discipline in terms of not reacting to fakes, close outs, and shot IQ.

Unless many things change drastically and quickly, this series is lost.

  35. starks3_

was never really a contest, we got outworked, we never tapped into our identity or had the chance to. add in the injury to IQ, Thibs needs to believe in Grimes and Grimes needs to be more willing to let it fly, we need jHart as the glue for the bench even more with IQ down. No one is stopping Jimmy unless Thibs gets very creative anyway, may as well try something to get this bench in order again.

More importantly, losing IQ is damn near a death sentence for our defense, we’re gonna need Mitch especially to step up. Not out of it but where are the corner 3 looks that Thibs talks about, where are some of the sets we saw especially towards the end of the season? Randle and RJ, we need you to set the tone too, far more good than bad so the glimmers gotta turn to gold.

  36. adnanistheogfam

I’m really hesitant to put all the blame on thibs tbh. His defensive scheme for the most part is working. Our offense is just complete dogshit. And it’s not necessarily because of scheme; it’s more so, guys aren’t hitting open 3s

  37. The_Notorious_Donut

Fucking trash. Thibs showing what a shitty coach he is

  38. FredVanCleet

Heat shot 21% from 3 and under 40% from the field. 34% from 3 over the first two games. It’s really simple: we need to hit something close to a respectable percentage of our threes to open up the paint and let Brunson work and Julius use his size. Dribbling into three defenders then looking around the court to see who’s open because there’s zero off ball movement most of the time is a recipe for disaster. And then when they can make the pass, it’s a brick.

Take care of the ball, hit open shots (at least like a couple of them lol), let our stars do what they do best…and for fuck’s sake come out game 4 energized and pissed the fuck off. 2-2 going home and today will be a fuzzy memory.

  39. ShMp11Nesis

Every single player playing horrible, coaches offensive system is garbage if the iso bullshit or straight chucking isn’t working, questionable rotation choices. All around bad stuff. It won’t happen but im telling you they should go for nurse for the forseeable future.

  40. Lone_Crab

Funny that heat fans are brigading so hard. Go check out their sub rules lmao
