Lakers cant compete without a +20 free throw disparity and the NBA knows they’ll lose money if the series doesn’t go to 6 or 7 games. Cause with out it this series would be over in 5. The Warriors definitely went ice cold and deserved the loss tonight, but the refs are the difference in being 2-1 or 1-2. The refs made this game literally unwatchable. this series had such potential, two great franchises, multitude of future Hall of famers, the battle between two top 5 players of all time and what do we get two of three games where the spotlight was on the refs and fans had to suffer through ref ball, watch the Lakers shoot 80+ Free throws and nearly 2 full 4qtrs of bench players playing each other. This series has fallen flat hard, its by far the worst series of the Playoffs.

FT disparity is the cop out. The team that plays with more force ALWAYS gets the better whistle. If draymond and Poole weren’t flailing around and falling over, they would get a better whistle. We saw in game 2 where Dray would firmly hold his ground against AD and defend with force, he got one charge and another push off foul as AD attempted separation. This game draymond just fell over and flopped around. Never getting those calls.
Also, the disparity didn’t impact the game at all. The warriors sucked. They turned the ball over relentlessly during that 30-8 run and the Lakers dominated defensively. Lakers would have won even if they shot 20 FTs
