Every time they had momentum they did some dumb shit to blow it all away. Zero effort rebounding. What a frustrating loss.

  2. When you have a turnover number that’s higher than half the kids age in this sub you’re not gonna win shit.

  3. This game honestly just looked like a veteran team vs a team that’s never been anywhere. A playable true veteran would change up this whole team

Brunson is poised, but it’s not contagious. The other guys are lost.

  4. howdy_goy

Hate everything. Rebounds. Embarrassing. Hart has had a disastrous series. Grimes looks drunk. We got Bad Randle all series. Brunson has a knack to brick threes at the worst times. Mitch can’t get a rebound anymore or hold onto it when he does. Bam looks like prime Dwight Howard. Jimmy gets breathed on, whistle, two shots. Thibs looks like a CYO coach. I miss anything?

  5. TreSeven

I was told that refs swallowed their whistles in the playoffs

  6. Idk what to call it

But I can’t even say they didn’t play hard. Just felt like they played reckless. Like a team that felt desperate and outmatched and was just throwing themselves around

Don’t know if I can say it’s outcoaching, or is it that these Heat players are more disciplined

For all the yelling Thibs does, our players continuously make dickhead mistakes. And I don’t see how that gets better next year

  7. aesop_fables

Grab the rebound. Grab the fucking rebounds!

  8. dollar_pizza_nyc

This loss was more disheartening than game 3

  9. GoldenBoyRecords

Tough lost. Loved the effort tonight battling after Saturday’s game but turnovers and rebounding are why we lost this game two things we are normally good at. Every time we got within striking distance we had a silly turnover. In the 4th where they had 4 straight offensive rebounds that killed us

  10. Shenanigans_forever

Both teams played physical and yet somehow the Knicks had multiple star players in foul trouble when the heat starting lineup had like 2 or 3 fouls each. Every close call, like the Randle 6th foul charge, magically went against the Knicks. What was and 1 for one team were no foul for the other. Maybe it looked different on the floor. Maybe the crowd influenced the refs. But watching this on TV and there were multiple instances where the same contact by each team resulted in different calls. Knicks were getting outplayed anyway, which makes it even stranger. But there was highly suspect ref bias in this game.

  11. 00pegasus5g

Outclassed, outsmarted, outcoached every step of the way. Should’ve been a sweep. I enjoyed the fuck out of the season, though.

  12. HardOakleyFoul

Please just don’t lose in the Garden. Please please please. The last thing I want to remember about this season is Miami fuckasses celebrating in the middle of Manhattan.

  13. mr_grission

Refs are ass, but don’t get it twisted, we are not playing like a team that deserves to win the series and we look like little bitches crying about the refs

  14. MJisthrgoat

3-1 series still gotta hope the team can make the adjustments. Gotta stick with the inside game. Hope heat just doesn’t drop anything they put up. Randle needs to be called out publicly about his lack of defense.

  15. Clown_Shoe

Only Brunson could hit a shot in the 4th, rebounding was terrible and so were the refs.

  16. OnymousCormorant

I think it’s completely finalized. Brunson is our first option. People have to stop saying randle is our #1

  17. Drew13800

Awful basketball. Awful officiating. Both can be true.

  18. SweetLou315

We’ve reached our ceiling of the Thibs/Randle experience. It’s time time to pivot

  19. Lazarus704

How are you down 2-1 and looking so relaxed the whole fucking game? Some of the effort defensively especially rebounding wise was fucking embarrassing… that’s fucking effort

  20. knicksprick

We abused a team that plays two seven footers on the boards but cant do it against the heat?

  21. Brunson and RJ are pieces worth building around. Randle is not reliable at all.

I’m done with this offense. I can’t pretend to like it anymore

Julius also with the team high 6 turnovers.

  22. asapfetty

    Brunson 32/4/11, 10-21

    RJ 24/4/3 9-16

    Randle 20/9/3 8-12

And it wasn’t enough. The truth is that this team is too young right now to have the vet experience to keep composed. That’s why all playoff team gets vet shooters

That being said Knicks in 7

  23. confuddly

We went from “Keep Randle Trade RJ” to “Keep RJ trade Randle” this has been a rollercoaster of a season

  24. linarez11

As a neutral who actually wanted the Knicks to win, I thought the refs were a joke and I only tuned in midway through the 3rd

  25. Vikk_Vinegar

All I gotta say is RJ, Randle, and Brunson can’t do it all

  26. Professional_Bat4946

Just please destroy their fucking ass in game 5, and in game 6 i dont fucking care what happens anymore

  27. totally outclassed again by butler and nobodies/washed up lowry

  28. We getting beat this series by role players and end of nba usefulness players.

    Strus
    Vincent
    Love
    Lowry

Not that Jimmy isn’t doing his thing and Bam stepped up in game 4, but the damage is coming from these role players.

  29. I don’t want to hear it from people about the refs. Yes they were awful. They’re awful every game. NBA has a problem – we have to live with it.

Refs aren’t responsible for rebounding. They don’t turn the ball over. They don’t miss open 3s or fail to rotate defensively. Knicks looked lethargic and at times even disinterested – yes looking at you, Randle. Knicks lost this game, it wasn’t stolen by the refs.

  30. deuce_and_a_quarter

Is this the part in the WWE errr… I mean NBA script where we win the next 2 games and force a game 7 back at MSG?

  31. builtapcthrowaway

Imagine if the 18 mil on Fournier was spent on a 3 point shooter we can actually play…

  32. We finally figure out some offense and then fucking blow it on the glass.

  33. Hemispheres33

Mitch and Hart were heroes of the Cavs series and have disappeared this series.

RJ and Brunson continue to perform well.

Our bench was supposed to be a strong suit.

That 4th quarter rebounding performance was as pathetic and frustrating as it gets.

Felt like we had way more than 16 turnovers.

  34. thirstyman12

There’s some cursed shit happening with this Heat team. Some of their offensive rebounds just bounced perfectly to their guys. Some of the fouls were incredibly questionable. I’m also pretty shocked how aggressively the Heat can play without fouls being called? Scrubs hitting threes…

All this shit is fucking with our boys so badly. They look really out of sorts. If I had to pinpoint one thing, it’s the physicality. I’m not sure I’ve seen a team play so rough in 2023?

We also desperately need another guy right now. Like a good role scorer. What Quick was all season. What Grimes was. Quick obv hurt and idk if Grimes looked right until tonight (still seems a little off tho).

  35. adnanistheogfam

Hey man, I want to win it all like everyone else and our guys couldn’t get a board to save their life in the 4th, but it’s all about perspective. We were not supposed to be here, we were supposed to maybe be a play in team. We’re heading in the right direction we just gotta gain experience and upgrade the roster in certain areas. It’s a good time to be a Knicks fan. Trust me I’ve seen some dark shit. LETS GO KNICKS BABY

  36. wizardofweird

RJ showed up this off season, if he keeps this up his contract will be a steal

  37. capogravity

By reading this comment you have already given more effort than the Knicks with the season more or less on the line

  38. Fast_Door

To anyone who thinks we got it in 7, I want your optimism.

If we actually do I respect the hell out of y’all for backing these boys rn, cuz I absolutely cannot after that dreadful show of effort.

  39. i-piss-excellence32

Miami heat players are purposely trying to injure our players. It’s been happening since game 1 with Lowry hitting mitch with his knees. Martin should’ve been kicked out the damn game

  40. minecate3

If we come back to win this series I’ll tattoo Jalen Brunson’s face onto my face

  41. It was a good run, thankful to even had interest this far into the season. This season was a success regardless of how I liked how they went out.

  42. Dragonthorn1217

iHart literally helped the Knicks win game 2 with HIS offensive rebounding. Funny how he just misses some rebounds in the 1st half and we completely go away from him after Mitch repeatedly gets torched by Bam.
