I wish to reiterate this: Please stop suggesting trading one of Siakam or O.G. for some combination of Poole, Kuminga, Moody and picks when Jordan’s contract will eat up an exorbitant amount of the salary cap.

Poole makes a lot of sense.

He is immediately the raptors best scorer.
I think og is a better player. Hands down.
But poole likely a better fit. Opens up the court for Pascal, scottie and og.

Even if you’re completely rebuilding, that contract $ and length will turn you off.
I’d still absolutely trade for him if we’re getting more back. He’s not irredeemable at all. We would be over the moon if we drafted a dude at 13 that could do what he can do on offence. The defence is an issue and the contract is an issue, which means we can get more assets back. This isn’t my favourite trade ever but if the Warriors offered Poole, Kuminga and their first this year for OG (who’s expiring), Boucher (who’s overpaid) and Thad young, I don’t think Masai hangs up.
