normally horford in 45 minutes would give you 18-25 pts on 45-60% shooting
normally tatum in 45 minutes would grab 30-45 pts on 45-55% shooting
they were both horrible from 3 and not impressive from 2, but they combined for 25 rebounds 9 blocks and 3 steals.
meanwhile defensive player of last year marcus smart had 0 steals 0 blocks 3 turnovers 3 fouls 3 rebounds and was 40% from the field on 15 attempts.
im pretty sure the fact that tatum and horford were carrying the defense cost them their offense!
jaylen brown was great inside… but maybe if he got a rebound a steal or a block his teammates mightve had a little more gas in the tank.
