It’s funny a lot of people said they wouldn’t take LeBron back. If we’re somehow able to get him back we win a title more than likely.

Bring him home

We also didn’t trade our ’26 or ’28 pick, you know because we couldn’t

The media is obsessed with the Cavs because of the big market and basketball pedigree.

I would love to bring Bron back. He’s from here, started his career here, he should end his career here too. I’m not sure how good he’d be in 2024. Probably still pretty solid but people drop off quick.
However, if you saw the end of last nights game. Lebron’s BBIQ means he can make a massive impact while taking ~2 half steps. He coordinated the entire play and told each guy what to do in real time as the Warriors we’re trying to do it. He’s played more minutes in the finals than our starting line up has played playoff minutes. That would be massive for us.

The Greasy God Nick Wright has spoken.
So it has been written.

With LeBron on the Cavs, we’d easily make it to the conference finals. LeBron still commands double teams, is a great passer, and would’ve created a ton of space that we couldn’t provide DG or Don with Okoro and the rest of the non shooters out there.

Nick put the pushpins and red thread away.

You know I’ll say this. Regardless of if that brings LeBron back or not Bronny is turning to be a great 3&D guy with athleticism. People used to say he would go undrafted if his dad want Bron but lately I’m seeing more and more people say he’s first round talent. I’d actually think he’d fit in great with our team.

I have no idea what Bronny’s game actually winds up being, but even if Nick has the projection right here doesn’t Bronny get picked higher exactly *because* of Lebron’s comments? Wouldn’t a team somewhere between 10-20 be willing to reach on Bronny for the promise of getting Lebron for 1-2 years?

40 year old bron isn’t gonna be a SF lmao

If we intend to compete for a championship in the next couple years it’s probably the only way a pick in the 20s could help immediately outside of a draft night trade. It’s still very unlikely but adding the GOAT for his last couple years and useful vet or two who’d follow him wouldn’t be the worst thing for this team

All correct except that Bronny is a combo guard, and we would probably have him play that way as we look to retire Rubio.
But yes. I want him. I think his skillset is exactly what we need, and I like the storyline of Bron coming back to play with us and him in his final season several years from now.

The fact that he really said small forward lol. Bronny is not the size of a small forward or really even a shooting guard dude is 6 foot 3 he would be on the small side for shooting guards.
