I could see it. 2 good teams and neither feel unbeatable

  2. jjgshnimnt

Nuggets easily have the best player in the series

  3. Drunken_Vike

I certainly wouldn’t mind watching AD at the height of his defensive powers and Jokic battle for a series. That sounds like a good ass time

  4. LordRupert11

Lakers lose in LeConference Final? doubt it

  5. onepokemanz

Denver is a very good team.
The only reason people shit on Denver is because it’s Denver

    I love the series

  6. stepoutthequeue

Jokic vs AD leading into Jokic vs Embiid would be sooooo good.

  7. Cabbage-Fell

A healthy AD gives Jokic the most problems of any big in the league

  8. derekgotloud

AD has significantly more dog in him than gobert or ayton

  9. KitchenReno4512

Neither team is guaranteed to make the WCF. Everyone is getting ahead of themselves. And yeah Denver could definitely win. Especially with their homecourt advantage.

  10. thatsinsaneletstryit

both teams are very capable of winning that series

  11. HoopsMcCann750

Stealing home court advantage from Denver with their crowd and the altitude is a really tall task.

  12. namagofuckyoself

All I know is that it’s gonna be a fun series and hopefully noone gets hurt

  13. hyperadhd

McMenamin is the biggest LeBron dick rider on the planet

This series probably goes 6 or 7. I favor Denver quite a bit, but I won’t count the scrappy Lakers out.

Nuggets have the most balanced all-around team of any contender left in these playoffs paired with a nuclear weapon of a #1 option in Jokic.

Lakers have a menacing defense anchored by a healthy AD, but flanked by lots of length and athleticism at the other positions. Offense feels a little janky at times when AD’s off, but 20th season LeBron is STILL LeBron.

  15. JerryLangford

McMenamin carrying water for LeBron and the Lakers?? Certainly not.

    >McMenamin

didn’t this dude move from CLE for Lebron like Windy did?

  17. KangzAteMyFamily

I think the Lakers got the warriors all but wrapped up, but the nuggets series is far from over.

  18. qotsabama

If we get a AD vs Jokic clash and then possibly a Embiid vs Jokic/AD clash it’ll be glorious

  19. AntSmith777

Let’s finish off Golden State first before we start talking about Denver. This series ain’t over.

  20. Mickeyjj27

76ers vs Nuggets would be such an awesome Finals match up. SH oh HoF be easy for the media unless they just wanna talk about Lakers

  21. ttone5722

Denver has home floor. Let’s see how old-LeBron does after playing twice, to open the series, at 5280.

  22. Abe_Fro-man

McMenamin is such a lazy analyst. All he does is parrot lakers propaganda. I remember the wild spin he was doing after the Lakers didn’t re-sign Caruso.

  23. imafixwoofs

McMenamin is the worst sports journalist? Disgusting LeBron stan.

  24. How about the Nuggets put the Suns away and the Lakers put the defending champion dynasty Warriors away first and then we can spend a few days fantasy analyzing the Nuggets vs. Lakers?

  25. thatguyteve

Think people still underestimating Denver’s bench and home court advantage. Gonna be tough for lakers.

  26. TheLoneliestMonke

I’m just proud of the guys for fighting through a shit ton of injuries and getting this far.

  27. bloodmuffins793

Lol we both still have to close out our series. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

  28. KWash0222

Pretty intriguing series. If you asked me a month ago who I’d rather face between the Suns and Nuggets, I’d have said the Nuggets. Now I’m not so sure. Jokic is unstoppable and Murray can blow up at any moment, plus they’ve got multiple role players who can drop 15+ pts any night. Historically, we’ve handled them… but this Nuggets team is much more experienced than the one we faced in 2020 (obviously).

  29. h1g440rs3

Jokic might be the most unstoppable key player in the playoffs right now. What do you even do with him? I wonder if it’s because of the lack of personnel on the Suns but I feel like he’s just a mismatch for everyone unless you send hard doubles every time.

  30. knightgawd

I don’t get it. I’d feel very confident in a match up against the suns due to their lack of depth but Denver is so good. We don’t have Dwight Howard to bother jokic anymore, AD is the only guy we can put on him. Now they have Aaron Gordon as well who is a great defender for both lebron and AD. I think that series is tough.

  31. TarkovBirdman

Deep down, we all know it’s going to be Lakers Heat. Don’t try to fight it.

  32. Jscott1423

I strongly believe the winner of the west is who’s going to win the finals

  33. nhess68

Jokic is better than anyone on the Lakers but ok

  34. hotpocketthrowaway

Yeah there’s a 0% chance of the Lakers losing to anyone this season honestly. The championship is already theirs. This is definitely not a jinx.

  35. HufflepuffFluff

McMenamin sometimes feels more of a spokesperson for the Lakers than a reporter covering them.

  36. BringBackFatMac

Would be kinda crazy if the 7th seed Lakers and the 8th seed Heat both made the finals. Has anything like that ever happened?

  37. Nintendomandan

I love how these guys get paid to watch basketball and still don’t even fucking watch it
