Was watching the game at msg. Yeah the officials were bad for both sides but I don’t blame the refs for the Heat losing tonight. Heat just didn’t shoot well and played bad. If they can play even just 10% better then they win
New Yorks starters were better than our starters, BUT our bench was better than theirs. Knicks played their best basketball on a night the Heat played their worse… YET miami still kept it close, nearly rallied for the win at the end.
Knicks played great D on Jimmy so he couldn't get in rhythm offensively but he got everyone else involved and was engaged on the defensive end. Knicks were more aggressive, played desperate (as they should in an elimination game). Strus, Gabe, Caleb, Kevin struggled on offense. Just an ugly game for Miami.
Still, I think Miami is the better team and if they make the minor adjustments that need to be made, Miami will win at home in front of our fans. Wish I could be there. The arena is going to be electric. Heat in 6.
Jimmy looked a bit weird tonight. Something was off with him. He didnt want to shoot at all.
Bam took 11 shots in 38 minutes. Duncan took 13 in 22 minutes but you will make excuses for bam. This game showed how important Tyler is to this team and why we should never trade him. Bam can't take over games. He doesn't even try.
Jimmy didn’t leave his print in this game. When we got it down to two points late in the 4th with 2:37 left I was expecting a Jimmy takeover but it never came.
I also think the full court press and constant defense on Brunson by Vincent is taking a toll on Gabe. He’s played like 💩 the last few games and I think it’s due to the defensive assignment he has. When Lowry is in the assignment goes to Martin, I think that’s why Lowry has looked better Vincent.
The Heat just look like they didn’t have legs today and were compensating with arms on their shots. Just an observation from some one that tries to shoot after leg day 😅.
Jimmy took over most of games of the season. A narrative that he didn’t play is a media thing. Keep feeding into these narratives

Have to disagree. Jimmy doesn’t flop or sell contact. He initiates it but finishes through the contact and actually gets fouled. Lowry on the other hand has been flopping for years. It’s his signature move at this point. He might be the best in the league at it.

The hack a Robinson was a desperate move, it made Miami look weak.
The Heat must get rid of Lowry,Love,Depo,Herro,Vincent,Highsmith,and Duncan,a d move Bam back to power forward,and trade for a true center,another power forward,and point guard,and SF,and of Riley can't do this,it's time for him to retire.
Refs bailed out the Knicks AGAIN. The Heat couldn't get within 5 feet of Knicks players, without a foul call. Enjoy while you can Knicks, you aren't getting 40 Free throws in Miami!
Jimmy will pour in 42 points in game 6, and Heat will beat the Knicks by 15 Points. Jimmy tends to play up, after his play is questioned.

We needed Herro out there.
This was the team that we saw for most of the regular season. Couldn’t hit timely shots in the clutch and the open 3s were bricked which lead to a big deficit.
Finally they started making them this playoffs and it made it seem like Tyler wasn’t missed as much.
No matter how bad he could’ve played this game, in the 4th when Jimmy is out there not 100%, Spo never goes for Bam in the clutch cause we need 3s, Tyler could’ve been the one to step up.
Guys need to stop looking at stats. Knicks adjusted the D made it a point to slow down Jimmy. Heat did many things well just a little to late. Lets go game 6!!
Definitely, that ankle has slowed Jimmy down. He hasn't been as explosive as usual after that injury. Also supporting cast was lights out for most of the series. Jimmy leaned on them after that his injury in game 1.
I'm not mad at it. Maybe we'll see Himmy back for game 6, or maybe the supporting cast will feed off the home cooking and catch their stride again.

My opinion in this game, Jimmy played a bit passive but the Knicks were packing the paint so much for him, so he was kinda forced to playmake and set up his teammates to hit 3s…and you guys know we didnt shoot the ball well, I expected Bam to do better and maybe we win? but its whatever at this point, we win next game im not worried about this at all. Lets go heat !
Not according to script. The hacking was strange but Jimmy didn't finish the job. Adjustments might be easy: hit the open threes. Lack of effort tonight. Did they get complacent? Didn't trust the defense to bring us back? We have questions. Oh well.
Knicks 3 best players all played great, no one on Miami had a great game, the refs officiated the game differently for us and yet we still were almost able to steal it. Just need guys to hit open 3’s and we will win game 6 without a doubt.
Grimes get knocked down by bam an ILLEGAL SCREEN no call but the ref bail out Knicks. Heat fan delusional not to mention the call on Hart.
You needed Jimmy to be Superman to beat the Bucks, but he can be average and still beat the Knicks
