    “Experience is the best teacher”, meaning FAILURE is the best teacher is one of the oldest adages in the book. I believe it’s true as well, nothing teaches you like learning what not to do.

    However…. Coach Silas was obviously not a teacher. That borrowed experience and knowledge, the direction is also important to development. This guy came out and said he doesn’t run plays for Jabari. Lord knows what he didn’t do for Jalen. Clearly mishandled Sengun. He cried for Porter, but has Porter improved in 2.5 seasons? Who did?

    Hopefully Udoka has more of a teacher’s approach. More (any) expectations for growth.
