Excellent question.
Randle should FedEx Brunson his All-NBA award plaque.
Best PG in the world
Watch the espn nba coverage then realize these are the people at the “peak” of sports journalism that get to vote.
Because it’s a regular season award
Said this when it was announced. Donovan Mitchell makes second team and the only major stat he has Brunson beat in is ppg because he takes more shots. Brunson has him beat in FG%, 3pt% and assists and lower turnover rate. Gotta at least be worth a spot. maybe these playoffs will get him the recognition he deserves.
It’s a product of the NBA media only focusing on established stars. He didn’t get enough attention which affected awards, because they’re voted on by people who don’t watch the games and rely on the NBA media which controls the narrative.
Bill Simmons mafia has too many votes
I am sure he is happy playing the underdog. In a way he kinda had to prove he could do it on his own this year, which he did, and went above and beyond in the playoffs. I think the accolades will follow next year, and hopefully he keeps up this rate of play. Judging what we saw this playoff run, I think we all know he will.

Because how the league does voting by position for all-star and all-NBA selections
Meanwhile our “all-star” was the complete opposite
Meanwhile the all star and all NBA did the complete opposite last night…
