Sixers were never that good anyways. Celtics should blow them out in game 7. Embiid got what he wanted, his fake MVP award, that’s all he wanted this year anyways. He wants to go on vacation.

Wow everyone and their Mom are just writing the Sixers off like there is no way on earth they win this game that’s crazy ….. now I’m rooting for them to pull the upset. The disrespect is wild and can we stop with bringing up the past cause no team left in the playoffs won the chip last year meaning there will be a new champion this year that either didnt make the playoffs last year or were knocked out early smh

If u look back at the sixers wins in game 1 and game 5, both were won by the skin of their teeth, the Celtics have beaten them in two games that Tatum played as bad as physically possible so I can obviously understand why PHI fans have faith that they will win game 7 in Boston but the odds are much better that they are going to get beat handily in this game.. Tatum, Brown, Smart and Horford have played in quite a few game 7’s over the last 5-6 years and they have only lost one of those which was to Lebron n Kyrie when they were in their prime, it’s in Boston and Tatums confidence is gonna be thru the roof from the tip-off, the sixers had their chance to bury them at home in game 6 and they let it slip away.. as the great KG said “Anything’s possible” but if I was a betting man I would be putting the house on BOS in this game.. it should be a good one either way

This issue isnt DOC here for me. The issue is Horford is totally in Embids head. I have not seen an MVP winning big shrink so much from a defender. Its one thing not having a good night but shrinking against other players is inexcusable.

I want to see the 76ers win, but I'm positive that they won't – Celtics will win by 6 points. Regardless, these final four teams will be the most mediocre I've ever seen – several great players (Tatum, Embiid, Jimmy Butler, Lebron James) but none of them are very good overall.

Its so dumb the NBA gave Philly and Boston an extra day off, if there is 2 or more series ongoing then they should play every night. And why aren't they on ABC on the weekends? It would be bigger for the league and better than the BS ABC usually has on over the weekend.
Dame and Embiid could be good, but I have a feeling they hate each other at the end of it because neither will accept they messed up and Dame being a ball hog means Joel will complain they lost because he doesn't get the ball more. If Embiid changes his mentality maybe he could win more in the playoffs, but it might be too late with injuries adding up.
As a celtics fan I love doc but I'll say it again, he's never done anything in the playoffs without a prime KG
I have absolutely no faith in the sixers in game 7 due to 3 different people
1) Joel Embiid plays his best games when there is no pressure on him, ie the regular season. He never dominates games in the playoffs, when the other team is actually trying.
2) Harden is the biggest choke artist of this generation. Never forget than in 2018 with the Rockets, after being up at the half against the KD-led Warriors in game 7, he missed 10 threes in a row and Warriors came back and won. Do you know the odds of missing 10 threes in a row when you are a 36% 3 point shooter? ~1%.
3) Doc Rivers must be getting paid to throw these important games based on how many of them he loses.
