I didn’t watch a single game all regular season because in my heart, I didn’t think this was a championship caliber team and that there were just too many mistakes by the front office(s). I was depressed we’d wasted Embiid’s career.
And then everything started falling right. The Bucks and Suns, who I was most scared of, were knocked out. The path is open, and doable,. So now all of a sudden I’m on pins and needles.
The last ten years of our lives ride on this game. In a way, we don’t deserve to win because of all the mistakes, but we HAVE TO, or it all meant nothing.
If we lose, the Process was pointless. If we win, the road is hardly guaranteed but as clear as it’ll ever be again.
