We all know he could score, but it’s his defensive potential I’m excited for. That 6’9″ wingspan is going to help a ton when we crossmatch.

Sure, the Wood attempt failed, but I’m very happy that Nico got Hardy. Sure, getting a guy like Rui with those 2 SRPs that we traded would’ve been great, but people was adamant that we should’ve thrown those picks at some veteran on his last legs like Crowder. Getting a guy like Hardy was significantly better. Hardy will not develop into a classic PG, but his defense will get quick to the point that he can guard other guards and his offense is, at the very very least, 6th man potential. He can create his shot, he can dribble, his handles are not a liability anymore and his passing as a secondary playmaker is legit.
Luka and Green are the starters for the future and Hardy will be a part of that, either as a SG or as a 6th man. Hopefully we will get Hendricks as other part of this future (instead of doing the dream of this sub and trading it for other over-the-hill guy that made the ASG 2 years ago or something like that).
