  1. That’s what a strong organization will do for you plus champions leveraging their experience

Lakers fan here. Got mad respect for y’all. My favorite team out the east for years since 06. Hope we both take of business so we can get a rematch for the culture 🤞🏾

  5. RampageOfZebras

Both of these teams were held back by injuries for large parts of the season and made a couple key roster changes mid year not to mention being recent finals competitors and being helmed by 2 of the best playiff performers in the league. In himdsight it is not that surprising but nobody saw this just 1 month ago.

a traditionally dominant and exciting franchise revered around the world and also the lakers

  7. TomTheNurse

If they meet in the finals would Miami have home court by virtue of a better regular season record?

    Let’s go heat!

Lakers fan here, can’t wait to see you guys in the finals, mad respect for the team.

As a fan, I couldn’t think of a better team to lose to in the finals. Wouldn’t even be mad since it means Jimmy getting his ring.

The way Jimbo talks highly of the organization, Coach Spo, 7 undrafted players on the roster is incredible.

I mean yeah they’re play-in teams but of course their odds were high to move on. One has the GOAT and the other has LeBron.

It’s the LeBron and AD led lakers and the heat not really surprising

Two play in teams in the NBA finals would be wilder than i think anything that has ever happened in the NHL playoffs, and that is saying something.

I don’t think it will ever happen again or even get this close to happening again.

  13. KayRay1994

funny thing is the play-in didn’t make a difference for the lakers while for the heat, ironically, going down 1 seed actually benefited them

  14. Ozarkian_Tritip

My understanding of things is if the heat and Lakers go to the finals, Lakers get home court advantage.

  15. Dagenius1

Id be very happy with this rematch as a laker fan. Anyone but the Celtics always

  16. arrownoir

Neither are typical play in teams.

Also, you can always count on Philly to disappoint. They’re the Clippers of the East.
