I got blasted for saying Brunson should have been a lottery pick. I also got blasted for saying that RJ Barrett and Zion were overrated bums in college. Their games at UNC wasn't impressive enough to warrant their draft positions. How many high flyers came into the league and busted? Barrett's basketball IQ seemed low and he's a volume scorer.
I agree that the Knicks need more because when you looked at that last game they were so close just 9 points and if you know basketball in 90 secs that's doable even the announcers were saying they have time they just need to get 3s and stops or turn overs. The moment the Knicks inbound the ball I think is was Randle to the ball up the middle for a lay up and missed. So you can see there is something missing, not sure if it's having the right pieces or coaching because someone should be looking for the ball outside the arch to hit those threes and it didn't seem like anyone was which is a problem. But hopefully they can figure something because lord knows the team needs a better owner.

Thibs did OK its time for them to get a complete coach. He's not good offensively bottom line. No matter where he coached, all his teams were below average scoring. They also need another Allstar. Randle could be a part of a winning team as the 3rd guy
Randle was the Knicks only Allstar, made all NBA 3rd team and averaged 25 and 10. They wouldn't be here without him but they need another Allstar and a better coach. Thibs offensive plays and sets are HORRIBLE! The guy is just not a next lv coach and doesn't know how to use his players on that side of the ball. Losing quickly didn't help either. They need to stop playing around and go hire Mark Jackson, we could use his prayers!

Totally agree with Stephen A and yours comments but I disagree with the people he wants to trade for. First and foremost I would go with another coach. The best offense is a passing offense and not individual dribbling. I prefer a star forward instead of a guard. The person comes to mind is Clipper’s Leonard. We need Mitch to do more than block shots so Jereco Simms needs development. Unless you can develop Grimes to stop taking off from the corner to the basket to just throw the ball out I would put a package with Randle, Grimes and picks for Leonard. The missing coach is NY’s own Mark Jackson. What is it that NY and others don’t want to give him a chance 🤔

As a Knicks fan from the Bronx, The Knicks overachieved this season. All the Knicks need is two 3-D players and some more development from their younger stars and the Knicks have a team to be reckoned with. In my opinion, keep doing what they're doing.
