Westbrook Watch Just Took a Turn for the Worse

I just saw this article… it’s not looking great. Westbrook: “I want to be a billionaire,” he says. “Sooner than later.”

Looks like money is actually a huge priority for Russ.

What is the backup plan if we don’t get Russ back (assuming we don’t blow anything up)?

1. Stick with what we have: point guard rotation of **Gordon, Mann, Bones, Preston**
2. Go for savvy reliable vets with questionable injury risk: **Mike Conley, 50yr old CP3**
3. Go after guys in their prime with playoff experience but clearly B tier: **Tyus Jones, Rozier**
4. Go after young untested guys but clearly talented guys: **Fultz, Cole Anthony, Coby White**
5. Do the unthinkable and include Mann in a trade for **FVV**
6. Hail mary, drunk as hell, with a blindfold on: **Ben Simmons**
7. Any other ideas? **\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**

I can’t believe some of you think a future HOF, coming off a good season, is going to take league minimum. Is this y’alls first year watching pro sports? It never works this way…

Does that mostly have to do with his WhyNot brand though?

Probably talking about making money off the court

  4. No one becomes a billionaire playing basketball as the main income. For billionaire aspirations, bball is a side job to build influence. Being in LA would be the business hub for him to grow his business. Only few other teams can offer that. Making a few extra millions from basketball is probably least of his concern if he wanna be a billionaire.

relax, he’s not getting anything close to a max deal from anyone – my guess is that he would prioritize length of the deal over a shorter one

Does Westbrook even have a lot of options.? Which teams would offer him a starting spot? The wizards? Everyone else prob have him coming off the bench and how much would they offer him

Why do people think we are bringing back everyone on the roaster from this season, Players will be move money will be freed and if Westbrook wants to stay he’ll stay
