Besides Josh Hart, I honestly wouldn’t mind Harrison Barnes if he could tighten up his defense a bit more and it was a medium length deal. Otherwise I’d probably just try and use picks/players to trade for someone since no one here really stands out.
edit: I don’t want him because he’s old, expensive, and doesn’t shoot 3s as well, but Draymond is mildly intriguing *only* if him and Mitch gel *really well* defensively. Would also give us a point forward kind of player if we can’t find a backup PG and allow Randle to play that role less.

But I think brook Lopez’s skill set could fit perfectly with this team. He’s a great rim protector on defense, which is a necessity for Thibs, and on offense his 3 pt shooting can help space the floor for Jalen.
Other than that, I’ve always felt like we need a player who can play 3/4, play some defense, and shoot. I think Yuta fits the bill as an option for the bench. And he is a realistic option for one of those exception contracts.

Lakers guys – reeves, hachimura, Walker 4, and then strus, Middleton. these guys have shown up in the playoffs, make their shots, and can probably handle the NY spotlight. Or I would stick with the squad we have an wait til next season. Look at the other teams who gutted themselves going after stars. Hopefully rose is smarter than that.

A lot of those guys could help us right now. One under the radar guy I really want is Cam Johnson. Don’t think people realize how good he would fit here. He’s a good shooter that can defend and he played well in this year’s playoffs. The only issue is he’s a RFA and I’m not sure we have the money to steal him from the Nets without them matching
