Honestly I think it’s better this way. I am not saying Jokic did not deserved it but he obviously didn’t want it. Embiid’s MPV will be always remembered as pity MVP and Jokic would be under so much unnecessary pressure if he won 3 in a row it would be ridiculous. This way he only has to worry about playoff wins which is the only thing he really cares about.
