– A steady, elite backup behind the GOAT PG, Stephen Curry.
– Some much-needed size behind Looney.

The Wizards get a little bit of draft capital and a 23-year-old guard, who averaged 20/3/5 for the Warriors. (Obviously a project, in many regards, but a young NBA champion with something to prove). Poole could be a breath of fresh air for DC – a prospect that can shoot and score.
Poole / Kispert / Deni / GSW pick / WSH pick
Trade assets: Kuzma (S&T), Beal (might be a negative), and KP (S&T)

Hell no. No way in hell do I want Poole on this team

I think losing gafford means you’re not getting value here. The pick isn’t that high and people say the draft isn’t that deep, then you’re getting Poole back who is…. Flawed. Plus you’re not sending a bad contract out or one that impacts tanking. So basically you gain Poole but lose morris and gafford which means you probably don’t get much better.

Gafford stays in DC.
