Here is why Monty Williams is not necessarily the best coach for the Stones. Y'all Remember Dwayne Casey? Came out of Toronto as Coach of the year, loved by players, reputation for development, black coach etc. (He was handed a tough situation, but he has a lot of coaching deficiencies). It's not as black and white as Valenti paints it, and he usually doesn't have the wisest takes on the Pistons. Head coaches are usually assistants before they get the promotion, so just because they have some experience, doesn't necessarily make them better than a potential assistant. It's all about fit. I have doubts that Monty will want to take on Pistons anyways.
You hand Monty Williams a blank check and ask "What's it going to take, tell me the number". If Monty Williams says I'd rather coach Giannis I get it, but if the Pistons aren't aggressive and offering above market for Monty Williams they are even more clueless than we all think, and we don't exactly think we've got a bunch of brilliant minds running the Pistons.

Dude is so negative. I enjoy watching them
we will end up with Doc Rivers
Valenti telling it like it is
Pistons need to send him an offer tonight
