No to Monty. Unless he gets picked up somewhere else first, I do think it is going to be Atkinson, and I wouldn't be mad at it. Also, if Khris returns, do you think he can draw a similar package to what the lakers got for Russ?

Monty is not an upgrade to Bud plus you can't choose a coach only because he's a "good guy".

He always complains that giannis get to many foul calls and he is not defensive minded, our guys taking pride on the defensive side!

If we get Monty I'm not watching next year. He's just a non starter if we want to be serious. Getting blown out by 30 in elimination games back to back years is an indictment on him as a coach who's job is to get his team ready and with a good game plan. No contender should even consider him, only young teams who need a vibes guy. If this happens Horst will be home within 12 months when we flame out again.

Zeljko Obradovic, the only good option. I know what he said in the past but somehow convince him. We need someone who's gonna show Giannis and the others some tough love. Only Pop can do the same in the NBA but he's old.

Of course they are. We don’t need a Phoenix expert…Monty has 2 of the worst exits in Playoff history in back to back years…at home.
Why the Bucks are dredging up retreads with losing records and coaches that couldn’t get over the hump even with great talent..is mind boggling.
They are treating this hiring as if they are Detroit or Charlotte. With Giannis in his prime they cannot screw this up.
Draymond Green just said last week that the whole team…their stars were upset that Mark Jackson was fired. He said he had the total respect of the players and they believed in him. He was fired over being public with his religious beliefs and rubbed many the wrong way. He has to have learned from that…if he has half a brain.
I like him or making play for Kerr (ya warriors got both those hires right). This is a job that is extremely coveted..Bucks need to treat it as such.

Monty is just alittle better than bud but neither bud or Monty is better than NURSE.
I think Monty could be a success with the Bucks, due to the culture concurrence of stars and coaches. Monty clearly had his issues with Ayton and with Jae (that would be weird if they both were in Milwaukee!) but he would easily get this team humming with the top 4-5 players.
However, I’m seeing lots of Ty Lue in the comments, is he even available? If so he would be my top pick…
PLEASE NO ! not another failure like Monty Williams. The Bucks should hire Mark Jackson. Even though Mark hasn't coached for a while, he's the man to take the Bucks forward.
