Pascal Siakam for Poole, Kuminga, and picks. Draymond comes off the bench and is in the closing lineup. Rebuild the bench around Draymond, GP2, Moody, and PBJ. That’s a solid team with more defensive integrity and playoff upside.
Bobby Marks said only the like 5-6 worst teams have cap space to sign draymond, every other team would have to do a sign and trade- which is a 'no chance in hell'. Cy, you're a little behind on understanding the CBA, the reality is that free agency is nearly dead, all players who want a big contract have to sign with their team and then demand a trade later. Plus after the Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook contracts disasters I don't think many teams are going to want to give big contracts to 32+ yr old players anymore. I would say there is pretty much no demand across the league for signing draymond to a big contract, but I guess all you really need is 1 offer.
I agree with your take on Kuminga. There is NO way he should have essentially been benched during the playoffs. It made absolutely no sense at all.

The Kerr slander is ridiculous.. on the blame game pie chart he deserves a slice for sure but the players let him down.. is it his fault dante and klay couldnt buy a bucket the last couple games of the series? Theres not a damn thing kuminga and moody were going to do to prevent this loss.. too many bad individual matchups and great strategic defensive coaching by Darvin ham
I like Kerr but he never figured out what to do with the roster this season. He has too much confidence in the vets and not enough in the young players. Makes no sense to treat the young players like there is no reason why they are on the roster. If there are deficits in their games that is what the coach is for.

The idea of rebuilding around the big three is a fool's errand. That era is OVER. Trade Dray, trade Klay… that'll free up plenty of cap space. We already know that Poole can play at a vey high level, Kuminga can be a star, Moody is solid, PBJ has the potential to replace Klay as elite outside shooter, get a proper big and we're back in business.
I think the key is for us to stop the delusional thinking of merging two eras.

For a direct trade I’d say Siakam or Lavine/demar are likely targets and sending Poole kuminga and picks the other way.
I said it on a prior video but the other option is to look at a 3 way trade. So whichever title challenger looks to add Dame they’ll have to send a max contract guy to Portland so we could get involved and take that guy for Poole kuminga and picks.
On Kerr look he deserves a slice of the blame but let’s not kid ourselves. Klay & Poole were absolute trash. That’s two of the main scorers after Steph.

It sucks but it's time for the dubs and us fans to eat a bit of turd sandwich.
If there was any positive to come out of the way the Lakers series ended it was that it's crystal clear that two timelines is dead one way or the other. Klay and Dray have declined while the league has changed around them and that somewhat goes for the team overall and Kerr's motion offense.
There is no getting out of Klay's contract next season even if the team wanted to trade him I'm not sure there is any team willing to take on such a huge even if expiring deal and if they were they would demand too many other assets to make it viable. At that point you may as well just blow it all up and let Steph finish out his career in Charlotte or whatever.
i think it's far more likely that Klay and Dray both stay and sign team friendly deals that align them with Steph's contract. Just as importantly they both need to take much smaller roles on the court. Klay should be effectively moved to the 3/4 position and ranking offensively. We can all but wistful about the player he used to be but he is very clearly not that player anymore. He shot so poorly in the playoffs because they game every other day was too much for him playing as many minutes as he did his legs were gone. He should stick to spot up shooting and opportunistic cuts to the basket and play no more than 20 minutes a game. Perhaps then he'll pay more attention defensively too and stop being a zombie out there.
Dray too should play less minutes he should aim and be expected to be as aggressive offensively as he was in game 5 vs the Lakers. Clearly he can do it he just doesn't bother. He's become far too comfortable being a non threat on offense and standing at the top of the key trying to make passes everyone can see coming. That isn't going to cut it anymore clearly.
In both cases coming off the bench should probably be a fluid thing, but doing so even sporadically would be more of a sign that the team and core and aware that the team has to move on at some point.
It is vitally important that the roster and the coaching schemes get more balanced, they have to be able to rely on at least 30-40 points a night from the front court this isn't 2015 anymore and the Splash bro's aren't enough to carry the weight of the offense every night.
In that situation there is then only one realistic move to make and that is trading Poole. I don't think it's fair lay all the blame as his feet but his limits on the defensive end make playing him heavy minutes and paying him that contract too much to bear. They needed to hold him accountable years ago for toxic lack of activity on the defensive end but didn't. Now especially after the Dray punch it's way too late for that.
So Poole has to go but they will need to try and get back someone that backup Steph as a ball handler and distributor and add some depth to the center/forward positions. Some vets on expiring deals would be ideal because things will have to be re-evaluated again before the new CBA kicks in.
Any big move for a star would be franchise suicide at this point. Recent history has shown that most teams making such deal end up giving way too much to get it done and then have no depth as a result.
Been noises around Kuminga of late too. Kerr needs to be told what is what. Either commit to playing him or don't. No more of this different standards for different players, hold everyone to the same standard. Which having played alongside Timmy and under Pop you'd think he would understand. Kuminga should be guaranteed 25 minutes a night or trade him because they will have to pay him sooner rather than later if they keep him.

It’s time to move on from Draymond. He punches a player, he request games off to go watch Lebron play, and he is not a real scoring threat but will give up points getting techs. He’s is on the downside of his career. Just like people need to move on from “Game 6 Klay” it’s time rebuild around Curry like the Bulls did with MJ/Pippen.
I think the biggest issue with the punch was that that the video was leaked and Poole became a laughing stock on social media. But his play kinda went down when Klay fully returned and took his Splash 💦 Brother spot back. The team can’t keep Poole and Klay. Both don’t play defense and streaky shooters.
Kerr needs to go back to playing younger players in the regular season so they can be ready for the playoffs

What you mentioned about Myers could also be the problem. I think it's about time for a semi rebuild, but that would mostly be impossible with Myers still there.
This off season will be very hard for sure, as we don't really have the flexibility, and the only way to change the roster is mostly via trade. As a fan, I would like to make trades with cash considerations in mind, maybe we can get Finney Smith, and create cap space too because there are free agents that could fit the team. Trent Jr., Jeremy Grant, and Naz Reid.
Klay was leading the 3s this season and dropped 50 points in the kings series what are you talking about? Dray was playing amazing this year. Lakers had amazing depth and defense.
When somebody punches you like Draymond did, and you know the world saw it.. there’s no coming back from that. Jordan Poole is just being diplomatic with his answer. As a man, there is zero love going forward for someone who did that. So it may have hurt Draymond’s ability to be himself, but it hurt Jordan Poole as a man and I feel he was just disconnected after that. Why wouldn’t he be….
Myers is not responsible for picking Curry. He was selected by the prior GM. Curry is the main ingredient to the Dynasty.
Everyone wants to talk about the punch but nobody wants to talk about how A Wiggins being absent most of the season (for good reasons that we respect) impacted the team big time this year. With number of losses , throwing off the chemistry they built all season by integrating him during the playoffs, him having to work on getting his legs back during the playoffs run…
what will Dray be able to give 3 years from now? 7 pts 6 boards 5 assists? they need to develop JK, Moody has some promise and somehow find a second option as Klay might be a 28 min guy going forward.
Warriors needed a BIG. I'm surprised they made it as far as they did! If they traded for a Big before the deadline the Warriors would still be in the playoffs!

my biggest fear is that bob will just resign dray on a huge contract, extend Klay on a huge contract and not make any trades or not sign any valuable role players. Imo they should try target players like Brook Lopez [ even though it's a long shot], Kevin love, Jae crowder, Trey lyles, will Barton, josh Richardson, Galo, Jeff green or even someone like Matisse Thybulle and try to develop his 3 point shot. this season the warriors truly lacked an otto porter or a nemanji Bjelica to come off the bench and play some big minutes. they also lacked someone like D lee who played a good amount of minutes in the regular season. the team needs more 3 & D players Specifically at the power forward position. I also wouldn't mind a real big man who can play 10-15 minutes off the bench.
the warriors should try a trade that looks something like Poole, Kuminga, 3 1st round picks for Siakam. Kuminga could be our future, but i'd rather have someone like Siakam who's an all-star player and can help us win now.

Bob Myers is overrated IMO. people talk about him like one of the best Gm's and i get where they are coming from, but if he was soo good he wouldn't have let Gp2, otto and D lee walk in the off season. he also would have traded Wiseman last off season and got a win now big man. even after seeing the struggles leading up to the Trade deadline, he still barely did anything only brining in Gp2 [ who was injured ]. we need Bob to step it up and get curry help. trade Poole, make dray Klay take a pay-cut resign Donte and get better role players !
