I love how NBA coaching consists of the same group of dudes rotating every three years as they wear out their welcomes.
Frank Vogel still floating around is honestly a shock. The man, given the right team and supporting cast, is a superb coach.
He’s diligent, and he’s no Rivers going off of one championship. Pair him with a young player that has the discipline of a Lebron or a Duncan, a decent front office, and you’re looking at a solid 10-12 years of relevance.
He’s one of the worse casualties of the Westbrook trade. With the team the Lakers have right now, the cohesion would be taking us to the next level.
I think Vogel would be a great fit. I’ve always liked him, he has a good defensive mind, and the Pacers had a good pick n roll offense with him.
