Welp, we’re screwed: Evan Sidery info on Twitter…
As we all know, the NBA Draft Lottery is unpredictable. However, for reference, here’s the spots where teams have jumped into the top four picks since odds were flattened out:
2019 = No. 7 to No. 1 (Pelicans), No. 8 to No. 2 (Grizzlies), No. 11 to No. 4 (Lakers)
2020 = No. 8 to…

Gamblers fallacy
I meant to paste this in the body but for anyone who doesn’t have or want Twitter:

Four years in a row the seventh-best odds have jumped. Who holds that slot this year? The Indiana Pacers.
EDIT: God damn people, I’m fully aware this means absolutely nothing. Just passing along an interesting tidbit. It’s not that deep 🤦♂️
Independent events blah blah blah. Tonight, I’m feeling lucky lol
The pacers have moved up once in the history of their franchise. That was in 1988 when we drafted Rik Smits. We’re 1/12 in moving up in draft lotteries, although 7 of those we had very low chances to move up.
I’d say we’re due. It doesn’t have to be number 1 but any of the top 4 spots would be beautiful to see. Now if we’re at 7 or 8 I wouldn’t be upset because this draft has a large amount of guys that fill a big need for us but getting into that top 4 would be huge for the franchise
Lottery is rigged doesnt matter they wont give it to us because were not a big enough market
The “Frozen Envelope” this year will go to Houston
11 it is.
The lottery is rigged but the league doesn’t want Wemby in Houston, Detroit, or Charlotte. Why wouldn’t the league want to see him with an up and coming flashy passing pg like Hali who has been in the media a lot and has likability. This is our year.
Are we? It’s literally just luck. Those things happening doesn’t mean it won’t happen to us, and if it doesn’t happen to us, it doesn’t mean we’re cursed.
It can happen again, we are getting #1
Winning those last few games were always idiotic thing to do for this team. I remember after every win you would have people debating and I want to see the people who said it was good I want to see them now. How is gaining that confidence working out, how is them building chemistry by winning those games working out. They got someone of Mathurins talent by guess what losing, you have Hali Math Nembhard Nesmith Myles wouldn’t it have been nice to add another top lottery pick who’s on a cheap contract by the way to this roster. They’ll still add a good piece I bet but the odds are way better when picking from the top.
