lmao there was talks of doc rivers getting fired for two years now, has nothing do with james harden’s comments; only chance doc had to keeping his job was making the conference finals and he/they didn’t; also harden very likely is leaving as well.

  2. I hope morey goes next. I think I speak for everyone in Philly when I say no one wants the Houston rockets reunion tour morey and harden keep trying to run here. We already have two roster spots wasted with Harrell and house still on the roster. Harden doesn’t like Paul reed and Paul reed will also get the boot. Morey and harden are constructing this team and haven’t ever won anything. I can’t stand morey, I hope the owner which hasn’t shown much sense comes to his senses and lets him go and starts building this franchise in the right direction. Had he hired a smarter GM not obsessed with James harden, we would’ve had Tyrese Halliburton for Ben Simmons and it would’ve salvaged the franchise and set them up for success for the next decade but the owner is too blind to see his own poor management decisions. It baffles my mind this man is a billionaire with zero common sense. Halliburton absolutely would not have quit during that Celtics game. He is athletic and fast like JT and brown and can shoot the 3 like them as well. Being a point guard also comes naturally to him and he’s young as a button. Him and maxey would’ve been amazing together. I still wish they would go out and get him somehow and trade away harden. And I’ll tell you the real reason the Sixers haven’t won squat or made it to the finals since 2001 — the owner Josh Harris who will also do the same thing with the Washington commanders he just bought. He is utterly inept at running a franchise and can’t even hire proper management. What our management has done is probably the worst in the league and a disgrace and ultimately falls squarely on the owner for his poor decision making.

  3. Sas and kendrick capping for doc and they Absolutely hate Mike dantoni. The fact that they don't want him makes me want the sixers to hire him

  4. PREACH PERK the Celtics had no problem getting to the finals with Doc so what's the difference since? The STARS.

  5. I know people are gonna hate on him but he’s a good coach and it’s not his fault James Harden was passing up so many open shot and Embiid wasn’t close to what he was at the end of the regular season don’t know if that anything to do with his injury or not but the point is he played worse and Doc Rivers has to rely on those 2 guys because outside of them and Tyrese Maxey the Sixers don’t have anybody and their best 2 players didn’t show up so he doesn’t have anybody to work with so it’s not his fault and he has a good resume and the Sixers should keep him 💯

  6. Perk is wrong! Again! Are you kidding me? If Monty Williams got fired then FOR SURE Doc Rivers is/was getting fired too! And I didn't think Monty deserved to be fired either! But Doc had to go! That Game 7 offense was atrocious and he had Embiid defending Tatum? Add that up with the previous 3 NBA playoffs and there ya have it. Philly made the right call!

  7. If 76ers hire Mike D antoni im straight up done SMH 🤦🏾‍♂️😒😒😒😒😒😑 and James harden can leave and bye bye 😒😒😒😑😑😑

  8. Why are they automatically assuming that the Sixers have chosen Harden over Doc? Maybe they plan on getting rid of both of them.

  9. They should have fired James Harden and suspended Joel Embiid for their performance in that game 7 against the Celtics

  10. Doc Rivers is the Jeff Fisher of the NBA. He won one championship & ppl put him on a pedestal with the true great coaches 🤦🏾‍♂️

  11. it wouldn't surprise me at all if james harden demanded the owners and front office executives to drop the ball on Doc Rivers

  12. Why is it that everyone except Doc's media friends are surprised by this? Lol.
Embiid deserves blame. Harden deserves blame.
But the coach who has blown more 3-1 leads and lost more game 7s than anyone else in history had to go.
Doc's habit of blaming others obviously rubs off on his players too. Give this same roster to Thibs, Spoelstra, Kerr, Pop, J Kidd… they aren't going out like this. You can't have an excuse making coach lead excuse making star players to victory

  13. Harden is a shell of his former self. Doesn't have nearly the same explosiveness to drive and finish at the rim! Not Doc's fault Harden has given up on himself!

  14. Bout the segment I've ever agreed with perk on yeah doc is historically a horrible coach but if embid and harden performed you could blame him they didn't even show up

  15. Even if we forget that kendrick has negative basketball iq, its unsurprising that kendrick would defend his former coach. That entire celtics championship team tend to overrate themselves and eachother. To the point of utter delusion in some cases.

  16. If your a sixer fan this was a great move. Why keep a great coach when u can get some shmuck from the local YMCA on the cheap? Maybe pay a few bucks and put the coaching job on indeed!
