Brunson is literally out there by himself. Get randle tf out of here next yr & go get a real SS
unless thibs changes something they going to lose again. the thing he need to change is just one. get mitch back on the offensive glass. if he needs to have someone back pick for him after the roll so be it. the overriding key for a knicks win is to offensive rebound. without that the whole thing crumbles. i dont care about defensive rebounds. offensive rebounds is the key. the knicks play good enough defense and have lot of young depth. that in of itself will hold down the other team withing stricking distance. but the knicks cant shoot straight and scared to take a midrange. so offensive rebounding is 10x more important and what won them games. the garden wont matter. only mitchel robinson matters. and not letting love throw baseball passes ever. if they figure that out they can win 3 games i gaurantee it. come back to this post if the knicks win at msg. you will see its because they doubled miami on offensive rebounding. and if that becomes the case then they will win 3 straight and go to the eastern conference finals. if they do not figure out the offensive boards they could play 20 more seasons with the same team win 50 games and get bounced in the first or second round for the next 20 years.
Tough guys that “get respect”
Julius Randle just isnt that guy, he doesnt have high basketball IQ. Too many games where he just doesnt play good at all. Theres no excuse for his bad play. Hes a good player sure but he kills the team with his selfish play. Theres multiple posessions where he just kills the teams momentum when he just holds on to the ball to either throw up a terrible shot or turn the ball over. Ball just stops when its in his possession and defenses have all the time in the world to get set and make reads and knows exactly whats coming. If he isnt shooting lights out, he just hurts the team. He tries to play as if hes faster or more athletic than he actually is and just tries to go through people when he cant get passed them and turns the ball over. Im tired of seeing it over and over again. Like how many times theres a fastbreak and he gets called for an offensive foul instead of just passing the damn ball. And then doesnt play defense. Players just blow by him with ease. Even guys like kevin love, like what are you doing? He needs to play smarter, but it seems he just gets dumber as the game goes on and looks like he flat out doesnt give a f, and just tries to get his and f everyone else.
Hard to be that tough physical team when the call keep going against you.

The refs were atrocious and corrupt. Thibs Jalen Josh and Randle were yelling at the same ref and he looked extremely suspect. Jalen knocked to the floor multiple times and no call but Jimmy get breathed on to hard it’s a foul. The play with Lowry elbowing Josh in front the ref and Josh called for the foul was ridiculous. Knicks played bad but these refs are out of control
Yep .. "MAYBE. THEY WANT IT MORE". That about sums it up. But why can't the Knicks play like THEY want it more?!! They got all the way here and they're just giving up?!! Smh. They need tougher mentalities and tougher play.
1. the officiating in this game was beyond horrific 2. Miami absolutely killed us on the boards 3. some really dumb and poorly timed turnovers 4. too many rushed shots in second half

Im sick of randle, i really am.. im the last person to be negative or turn on our players.. i always had there back but i seen enough of randle.. forget his numbers (which they been TERRIBLE) but just look at everything else.. his TERRIBLE turnovers and turnovers at the worst times.. every time we make some type of come back or a fast break, that guy turns the ball over.. he has no IQ.. he got slip and slide hands.. literally what happened the first seconds of the last 2 games?? Randle turning the ball over.. what a freaking tone to set for the game LOL.. lets not forget about his TERRIBLE defense.. grandpa Kevin love just beating randle to the hoop easily.. how about randles none existing hustle plays (which been SO obvious) how about his terrible negative look on the court??? Or how about some shots he takes when he has like 5 ppl on him and yes sometimes it goes in but if it did not, its a AWFUL shot.. even that game winner against Miami, during the regular season, how bad was that?? He turned the ball over the play before that and then that play he almost turned it over and got lucky.. im telling u if he did not play, then we are in these games.. he legit KILLED US.. i dont wanna hear about his damn ankle either cause butler turned his even worse and only missed a game and helped his team in other ways and brunson has still been really good and he is in pain.. just sick of it
Coach gets blame to for not making changes and has no balls to make the right moves, that is so desperately needed.. then he has a lineup on the court at one point with no shooting at all and thats what we needed badly.. i can go on and on its just been awful.. a couple of SMART EASY changes and we are in all of these games and even get the win.. just look at the stats and how close some of the games are lol just imagine if the coaching was a little better, or yes if we hit some 3s (putting Evan in and spacing the floor) or less turnovers and not having randle kill us and then yes we take some of these games EASY but now its all ruined
Heat have move ball movement because they move more without the ball. They also just gang up on brunson and force Randle into turnovers. The coach has to keep Randle from holding onto the ball and have him rebound more and spend less time shooting 3's. They're just out hustling the Knicks. I still believe the problem is the coach. Deuce Mcbride only played 4 minutes even with IQ out. Incredible. Deuce is a ball movement point guard. we're not winning the next game without Deuce playing 15 mins minimum. If Deuce play 3 mins the next game we have to seriously examine this coach.

Julius Randle dogging it on defense and walking/jogging up the court on defense but Thibs has been allowing that from him all season but let Obi miss an assignment or shot but giving effort hes out the game. Quiet as kept believe me all the players know to. It effects the whole team. Hes a cancer
