Anticipates aka fake hype
They’re gonna ask for legitimate players in return, idk if that’s worth the price for Scoot or Miller.
Blazers would be better off using that pick in my opinion.
I proposed a three team deal to some friends where essentially we get 3, Wiz get our 6 and 11 as well as cap relief (expiring contracts), and the Blazers get Beal. Only scenario I could think of that was even somewhat realistic that allowed us to trade up lol
Don’t think it happens regardless. Stars still have to align. It’s a full-on commitment by the Blazers for the next 3 seasons to spend a crap ton of money on their guards with little extra to build with (and required giving us Simons which ain’t happening), the Wizards to finally commit to a rebuild considering all they’re getting are the two picks and cap relief, and requires us taking on a couple contracts that essentially eat all of our cap space for this season (and the next 3 years). Was fun to think up but just doesn’t make complete sense and not sure there is a deal that does that would get us to 3.
