The Phoenix Suns season came to a disappointing end after being eliminated in six games by the Denver Nuggets, who will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. The Suns fired Monty Williams shortly after the season and questions remain about DeAndre Ayton, Chris Paul’s future and how to build around Devin Booker and even Kevin Durant. Nick Wright reflects on KD’s last few seasons, including how his career shifted to a ‘bizarre end of his prime.’ Watch as Nick explains what Phoenix should do after the Suns set on their title hopes this season.

Where do the Suns go from here heading into next season?
250 views and 0 comments in 30 mins? Nobody cares about KD anymore Nick lol
This shows why LeBron is the face of NBA. This could be anybody else. They all lack interest or personality.
I think KD's prime ended in 2021 – after the loss to Milwaukee.
Since then he's still been top 10 but not as great as he once was. He can still get you a ton of points because he's an elite scorer. But they come with worse efficiency, more turnovers, sloppier play and such due to his age. And obviously physically he's been getting hurt more and more.
He's got like 1-2 years as a top 10-12 player and then after that he'll probably just be a solid starter / role player till he's too old to be any good.
How about Klay Thompson? Nick, get a grip 😆
Its amazing how people were just saying "Who would want Kyrie" and now folks are actually contemplating who would want Ayton or Poole….smh. Kyrie can actually play….lol
KD was just doing HISTORIC EFFICIENCY and numbers in NETS before he was traded to Phoenix Suns. What I think happened was Devin Booker exists.
KD had this kind of back pedal mentality or in ruthless term loser's mentality where you needed to activate him first, or he'd just be content as a watcher and content on being second to the running first, which in this case, Devin Booker. KD was so accustomed to being second in his whole life, he's so acclimated with it that it has been ingrained in his DNA now, so the team and people around him has to let him know it's his show. That's how GSW unlock KD, that's how NETS unlocked him in the end before trading him.
KD was just his usual effiecient elite the whole season at Nets . Actually even better than he has ever been offensively. he had got injured then the 8 games he played before playoffs he was himself. Played well against Clippers but had 2/3 games against Denver and all of a sudden he is done? Comeon. People just over sensationalise things for bait.
Super teams where the stars are all one-way-players don’t work.
Behold the deceased:
Durant’s Brooklyn Nets
Durant’s Thunder
Harden’s 76’ers
Durant’s Suns
KD A IS EXACTLY WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS lol all time great but not THAT guy
