This man is incredible. The way that he defended Embiid the whole series, but specifically games 6 & 7 was just absolutely spectacular. He is what a true Veteran should be and is. I honestly love this man.

Embiid getting the ball at the elbow for 90% of the game is the difference. We have no solution in the post and he just could not (and would not) get there. Horford was a wall and the help defense was there to smother.

That bucket at 1:00 was huuuge. It wasn’t THAT open and it just showed Embiid early in that he can’t help inside too much without leaving Al open. Also, missing that could have caused Philly to take a double digit lead on their ensuing possession

For those who (like most of the Celtics) don't know what a boxout is, Smart does it @ 3:13 Horford boxes out sometimes. Griffin boxes out a lot. Smart boxes when he really wants a rebound.
