  1. Could also be Cam Whitmore. Either he or Hendricks could work well with these Pistons. Maybe Troy can swing another deal and get a second lottery pick this draft as well?

  2. So NBA fans are subject to the whim of a bunch of middle-aged selfish idiots who just want 3 teams in the NBA! I'm middle-aged, so I can say that, LOL! These are the reasons why I want to HATE the NBA! If it was up to the NBA, there would only be 3 teams, the Lakers, Celtics and Knicks! These are the only teams the NBA cares about! And then there is the nauseating love-affair the NBA has with Lebron! Now, I respect the old Lakers (Magic, Kobe and Shaq)- BUT I love to see these Lebron Lakers lose. The league does everything to help Lebron. They are trying to force-feed Lebron his 5th championship. No matter how great A.D. plays, if the Lakers don't win, the league will blame A.D. If the Lakers win, the league is gonna give all praise to their "chosen one!" There's a reason I didn't capitalize "Chosen One." And then this draft… nothing needs to be said about this draft lottery!!!!!!!

  3. It's Walker or Hendricks. Weaver needs to use the cap space. That's what he worked for. Pay Cam johnson, might have to over pay. If you belive Cade, Ivey and Duren is the core who else is going to come here and replace them? Build around that.

  4. Pistons got 2 top-5 draft picks on the roster now, another coming this draft. Realistically they could be back picking top 5 again in 2024. Is that enough top 5 picks to build a playoff participant team?

  5. I can totally see the General Manager trading Wiseman or Bagley to get back into this lottery for a second pick. This draft has no legitimate NBA starting bigs outside of the #1 Pick and teams like OKC, Washington Wizards may be more than willing to trade the pick for a former #2 overall pick in Wiseman. If the Pistons can come out of this draft with Cam Whitmore and Grady Dick that would be a home run.

  6. I’m still resting easy because I really believe in the potential of the young players currently on this roster. We still haven’t seen what it looks like when these guys get a chance to play together— and they’re all still improving. After watching these playoffs closely, we have a lot of the elements needed to compete.
Two on ball guards who can both play off ball— each one offering a different flavor the other team needs to solve. You can solve one, but can you solve both? Don’t forget how clutch Cade was as a rookie— near the top in Clutch Points, not just rookies. Switchable bigs, with some offensive playmaking. Production from the bench guys. 3-point shooting. Plus athleticism.
I believe we need a wing defender and a little more outside shooting— Jerami Grant would be so perfect. If not him, Jarace Walker or Ausar Thompson both seem like elite wing defenders in this draft. Ausar looks like Pippen — averaged over 5 St+Blk per 36 minutes last season. And Jarace instantly can be a Herb Jones, with more offensive upside.

  7. I'm not even sweating the fact that we lost out on Wemby…. We fell all the way out of the top THREE… So we fell out of the of the Scoot and Miller sweepstakes as well.

  8. The Pistons had almost a 50% chance at getting pick number 5 according to the odds. That's what's messed up

  9. Spurs never drop in the lottery because they rarely in the lottery. The spurs had a top ten pick last year first time since 1997 and that was tim Duncan. Remember the spurs for 20 straight years the spurs was in the playoffs. Tim ducan never missed the playoffs

  10. After it's all said and done there is no reason to have the bottom 5 in the lottery. It should only include the bottom 3. The reason for 5 is so that the lottery can be rigged. The lottery is gambling pure and simple. How many last place teams have come away with the #1 pick since the advent of the lottery? How come the lottery isn't used in the NFL or MLB? 🤔

  11. We know what's happened. Seems to have happened at the last moment. Let's move on. Cam Whitmore

  12. Cam Whitmore is from Troy’s neck of the woods 🤔. I also live in the same City now, and he’s the equivalent of Detroit’s own Chris Webber.

  13. I wanted cam anyway.. wey would have been cool but.. I like cam wit.

  14. The Killian slander kills me he was just top 20 in assist and steals acting like he's not the only real pg on this team and that he isn't a key guy is insane

  15. So mutombo congratulated the 6ers on Twitter for winning the #1 overall pick. And this was hours before the live lottery. But you want to sit there and say that this system isn't rigged.

  16. The NBA killed basketball in the city of Detroit last night. I don’t understand the positive nature of this conversation. I miss being on national TV 10-15 times a year. The young fans are leaving because we’re a perpetual doormat, nobody outside of the state gives a shit about us. We are now Sacramento. Haven’t been relevant in 15 fucking years.

  17. The "spin masters " are at it again, I'm not drinking no MORE of the kool-aid. It should be the worst 3 records should be the the first 3 picks, that way the worst you can drop to is 3.

  18. Since the NBA flattened out the lottery odds to 14% in 2019, the team with the worst record has NOT won the lottery. This is a telling sign, no more tanking for the worst record, PERIOD. If you're a bad team, at least try not to be the worst, we're better off with the 2nd or 3rd worst record. Let's not be in this situation again please. Next season is time to be seriously competitive.

  19. Who ever gets Devo Davis, that’s who will win the daft. He can play now. I coached him
